I could pull the engine out of my 11 KTM without removing the tank. That bike was a dream to work on

Wanna know a secret? The best combo on that bike was a procircuit and the stock silencer.
That's a true statement right there Travis!

Just a heads up, the works pipes are nearly IMPOSSIBLE to find new for an 03 KX 2 stroke. 04+ is different, I know people have used them but IDK if theyve made and mods to the pipe for it to fit. All Ive been able to find for my 125 was beat or used pipes, and a quick search for the 250 on ebay turned up nothing. However, I have been able to find an FMF Factory Fatty for the 03 250. Good luck though!

Those skins were hideous back then and my opinion hasn't changed after seeing the blue buffalo bike at Unadilla.

you're a very cosmetically oriented dude, digger.

i like the idea and function behind them. Part of the reason MX will always be a small-time sport is because of the lack of advertising space. Whether or not that are cosmetically appealing I've never given a whole lot of thought. I don't spend much time in front of the mirror doing my hair, either.

the body shrouds were never practical from the rider standpoint.. they hold in engine heat, add weight, and make it harder to spot engine problems and to fix them.

They were meant for advertsiing to help the sport. I remember the Camel cigarette advertising on the Yamaha GP bikes.

Thought it was time to post this. 2003 CR125 I built last year and ended up selling to build my 250 2 stroke. Turned out nice.

That is a bike from down here, I believe the graphics are done by the same guy I got to print mine up, Sammy.

He's been sending quite a lot of stuff to the USA, has even had a few yankee specials I think. Hit him up, does good work!
