Thinking of using mine again. After my kidney stone last year I seem to develop pain after about 10 minutes of riding.

Your dam right I ware one!

It a Stubbs that I got right after I donated one of my kidneys to my cousin!

I'm glad I had it on yesterday! I hit the ground hard & had the bike pinned me to the dirt! Motor locked up over a drop off!

I hit hard that the new fox helmet I just bought last might be a goner!

But no kidney pain or problems so far knock on wood!

Probably that, and that you called it a "250f line".

No not really. I have raced over 20 years and now in my mid thirty's I have a healthy fear of injury and crashing. The difference between me and the young crowd is I don't care about image I care about enjoying my racing and going home safe because I would like to race again next week.
I work with a young lad who i swear is more worried about how he looks than his results and I don't think he is in the minority.

I stopped wearing it when I was younger but recently started again because my Lower back hurts considerably less after riding if I have my belt on. Getting old blows..haha

I always wear it. I have a cousin that took a handle bar to the gut while racing a Tyran mx125.(OK to crack up) he busted his splien . Died 3 times on the operating table .He is fine now.It could have helped. I started racing in 76 and if I ride I wear it. I think I am worth $30 bucks or so .Your opinion may very.

Always used to wear one, then when I started up again after a 15yr lay off didn't bother wearing it. Had back pain when wearing one, still get back pain without. Go figure.

After breaking my back, I started using a brace that I got from my chiropractor. I would pack ice in it, helped with the sciatic pain.

I'd be more likely to ride a 2 or 3 hour HS without my gloves than my kidney belt. Tried it once and almost DNF'd cause my guts (kidneys) hurt so bad. Yes, I'm old and out of shape...a couple of 20 minute motos never bothered me but hours with no break brought me to tears.

Always wear one, the only time I never worr one was, many years ago (30 odd years ago), I forgot to put it on.
I went over the handle bars broke my wrist and brusied my kidneys. The nature of the crash I would still have brusied the kidneys if I had been wearing one.
Now days wearing one helps me get into my MX pants.

I have one in my gear bag. After reading all this it's going on when I ride tomorrow night. If you ever fall over and the back tire opens your chest protector like your a lobster, you'll start wearing one.
