some just cant allow some poeple to post thinks ifthey want in free ways. It hs to bee good or it can go to the dumbgion. but the dumbgeoin is ok and some posts will get a response there. I have been mistreat all my life and i get told thats because im diffeernt. sometimes peoplr wont give a chance to uyou because the judge you first before they will know all about your story and hard times through life.life can be toufh and the internet bullys wont care becaus ehtere is lass emotions through a forum. sorry to hear if you mistreated. but it ok, you can come and post the dumbgin with me!!

What Jarid332 says is the best idea.

Lotsa written rules loosely followed, lotsa unwritten rules strictly followed.

Alotta guys here been around a long time and know each others posting styles and opinions.

We all never agree on anything, but have very strong opinions on everything.

When you came in and told everyone about the rules in "our" house (Guyb's house, but we live here, we are slackers),

it didn't go over well. . . and now you have some guys po'd at ya, some just cranking your chain, and some listening to what you have to say.

There will be NO REFORM of the motorcycle racing business in this forum or any forum.

Sorry to have to tell you this, it's the truth.

Get some thick skin, don't be abrasive, and welcome in.

I hope you like bears, you're gonna see a lot of them.

Based on your rules listed above, I only gracefully reacted to those that became disrespectful, and if you notice towards the end of the thread we were actually having a very productive discussion after cutting through and grounding the topic.

Please help me ( in an adult leadership way) understand how any of what was discussed was a violation of any of your rules listed above to warrant the thread be moved. What was "Unreasonable?"

We finally had the conversation grounded to the point that many of of us were actually learning something, and you moved it as a dumb thread. Really... Really...

I read your first post earlier. It was a little long and rambling, but I got the overview. I've been around the factory end of stuff for a while, when factory was still out of the bed of a pickup. Your goal seems sincere, but maybe a little too serious from someone that hasn't built any credibility on here, or in the industry, that it know of (not that I have, in the way you're planning). If you came on here to be taken seriously, immediately, maybe you came to the wrong place. Good luck in the future.

Be forwarned that if you come in here and show any type of sincerity or vulnerability you will get a smack so quik it will make your flywheel spin. With that said if you smell a little out of touch of the social political correctness in here it will afford you even more trouble.

This is a testosterone laiden environment. So even though it lacks common sence, you must first gain the approval of some here. For you to come in here waiving your bank statement around looking to "help out" some will feel a bit threatened, as well as assume your motive.

So maybe a little wisdom on your part is due. If you wanna help promote the sport you need to find a way to make it more popular, and more of a house hold name. Exposure is it. How we go about that can be debated all day.

Dr. Know...... Where did you amass your money? The logical bet would be in the private sector, which would lend itself to partial sponsorship of a team. Find a team like Rock River, or another '2nd tier' team (no disrespect to RR) and inquire about an advertising opportunity for your (possible) business.

The major problem that was just demonstrated is smart people that can help don't and won't get involved because of this type of culture that is encouraged.

Look at what Outsider just said. That kind of attitude is encouraged, tolerated and sometimes respected. That's a small audience for a money making venture and the sport needs money and direction.

It's too bad because I love to ride, and I will always love to ride. I just see talented riders.. struggling, but no one that really can help does.

That's really too bad... a small percentage alienate the sport from mainstream, and it doesn't have to be that way... wow.

I really don't know what has happened to this place the last year. It used to be such a well respected place in the industry, somewhere the industry insiders could come and share their press releases without fear of anyone disagreeing with them. I really don't know what has changed here, maybe Hutch has gotten lazy and isn't taking care of it the way he used to. I sometimes hold back on posting things because someone might be mean to me, I'm sure I'm not the only one here who worries about getting sand in his vagina. We need to really all band together and straighten it out before it's too late.

I think you have the record for the most started topics on page one in the Dumbgeon. And I think one of them has even been deleted. . . after it was put in the Dumbgeon. That's a pretty awesome statistic if that's what you're going for.

I hear you man. For whatever reason, it is just like in college where it's 'Cool' to insult 'outsiders' and is uncool to stand up and agree with someone other than the majority.
