I saw the bikes in person at Supercross last year and I swear they are running an 18 inch rear tire...they look fat..

The plastics look super thin too. If you read the RacerX interview, there is a picture of the number plate and it's translucent. Bike looks great though!

I have a question, with the design of the Yamaha (engine placement), and the way JB rides at the rev limiter all the time, what kind of effect will this have???

I could be way off on this, but didn't they mention trying a different size at a couple races or something? May have been one of Jbones interviews. I cant remember. Anyone else remember that or am I losing my marbles?

It's not 2010 anymore. He stopped doing that as much just before he hopped on the 450. I remember his last year on 250's he was the more calm rider compared to Tomac.

The more I see those side panels, the more they look like fiberglass.

Looks pretty cool.

Interesting the diecut decals on the side panels, they're going all out to bring that weight down... See around the 51 and ama sticker and the blue bit isn't connected, that's the high gloss of the plastic underneath, bet it's not fun to put on tho!

I still wonder about the front section of the yamaha, does it have a psychological effect to the rider looking like such a porker...

The bike looks great.

I agree with you about the front section of the bike. Barcia is going from the slimmest smallest bike to what looks like the biggest.

Yeah I just wonder... Like if you sit on a DS bike, you always think, woah, this thing is fucking wide... Well, sitting on a YZF from a CRF, you'd definitely notice it. Stewy went nuts trying to get it smaller and JGR did that a bit... I just wonder if it gets in their head a bit.

So who think's this photo was really of him? I think he got busted. I wasn't buying all that crap about some kid just happening to have his gear.

I do think the photo is legit, it not photochopped, but didn't some people point out the bike wasn't quite right? Wheels etc?

Pirelli makes a 120/90-19 that looks very "18"...

It wouldn't be the first time this year we seen someone #94 on a bike that had stock stuff on it. Also that's not MTF like everyone was claiming thats his track.

Is the subframe on that thing adjustable? Looks like the bottom mount has a jam nut and a threaded portion to allow adjustment. May just be my eyes that need adjusting.

Read the 'factory style' YZF450 ride in the new MXA mag and you'll see that yes it is adjustable.

Okay, I've seen the photos of the initial RCH bikes and perhaps Kenny's gear (subject to Fox making yellow/black/complementary color scheme.) A bit underwhelming in the looks department initially, but, who cares?? Kenny is a rockstar |(a RedBull star) and can ride a Pep Boys Christmas bike for all I care (emmm, not really, only in the sense that his riding style is the thing.)

But, THIS bike has a gorgeous style. I wasn't (still not|) completely sold on the blackened frame/swingarm with the silver/aluminum sub-frame, but then I look at the rims and the bike-stand and I see a combination of black with silver accents, so it makes me think they have a designer with some sense and logic (even if I'm not totally sold on the results just yet -- first look and all.) ... But, then the two simple, subdued magenta swatches on the radiator and side-panels ... accented so subtly (in relation to the big blue hubs/sprockets/hoses) by the rear brake plunger and reservoir cap in magenta also!! Wow! Someone in the design department knows what's going on! I think this bike is beautemous. Have no idea the gear set that goes with it, but I am sincerely hoping Justin Barcia makes some serious noise in points and Championships!

Good luck and work to all the boys this off-season!! Health and lining it up healthy!
