It has that "1990s Texas Paint" feel to it, kinda like Ric Duppstadt, remember him? He still paints I think, although not so much mx like he used to.
Lots of strong stuff in here; some not-so-strong but most is very impressive.
Hey I sent you a PM with my email address. Shoot me an email and we can talk about the details.

My thoughts are this...
I stated that I'm just a "Joe blow" from Ohio and not realize I'm not a Indy pro. He specifically said that don't matter but I still don't believe that. I wish him much success but I'll never go back. It's that simple.
Sethgator, who did all those helmets? I don't see a logo???? Koop?

I try not to post too much when there's a custom paint thread, but I understand everyone's opinion is different. Whether you love our insane and "screaming creative" style, or would rather stick to what's old and been done, we totally accept that. But thank you to the ones that respect us. And yes, as someone stated earlier Shades of Gray really likes to go off of a lot of our designs and make them his way, we do have a lot of copy cat "artists". To be an artist is to have your own personal style, so that's that in a nutshell. We are often imitated but never duplicated, quality or style wise.
I will try to post more helmets we at Tagger Designs paint with the cleaner, racier look because that's what this crowd on Vital MX seems to like. Thank you for taking your time to read this, and have a nice evening!
It is a style - every artist (myself included) has a style that we gravitate to, or away from, because it is a preference and a culmination of influences all around us. I guarantee your dad can name many artists and elements of influence (not necessarily helmet painters) that has developed him as an artist as well.
Example: that Brett King Design helmet VS. the Tagger above. One shows a very tight, precise and well-thought-out design with good use of color and excellent color balance throughout the design. The other one, just doesn't hold any of those traits. Now I believe I have seen some Tagger work that did have those elements, but that isn't what typically comes from your operation. There is no right or wrong - it is subjective.
Nothing is original - everything is from influence around us.
Yes I do love them. Your father is a great guy. Really enjoyed the whole process from start to finish.
Nothing like opening up a new helmet from a painter.
I appreciate all art. We all have our own taste, that's what makes it "ours".
Hope this doesn't go off topic and stays true to the original post.
Both Tagger and Brett did a great job. I have to go off of my experience as a whole. I stated facts and that is all.
I made a choice to return to Tag on a second helmet and I'm very happy with that decision.
Bronson thank you for all the hard work you guys put into all your lids.
Keep the helmet post coming!

Acquiring Bell to represent their brand with "Tagger" designing them and being able to get their logo on the visor speaks volumes.
