Sounded like the same Chad to me. He's a good guy if you give him a chance.

Great interview with the exception of the "I didn't want a bike that bogged anymore." I can overlook that though.

Say what you want about his honest opinions... but that was a class act with the GL plate... his stock went way up on a day when ours went down! ;-)

I agree 100% Be honest in the past he has been a whiner and a punk. Im not a great fan of his, he is winning me over. It makes it tough because I really like Stewart, now I would like to see Reed make him work for it.

He's been cool to me when I talked to him, everyone is always looking to knock people for any little thing. I know I would be a total prick to people if I was under the scope. I have always liked the guy.

I cant wait to see his old underpowered, shitty handling, bogging bike past him and checks out with a 35 second winEvil

what will be his first excuse of 2009?

So that SHOULD rule out the bike as an excuse.

4-strokes and SX only. They'll drain the testosterone out of any man. He might as well start wearing a tampon.

Now I just hope he listened to Bradshaw and the Chicken; rubbin's racin' and him and James get a rivalry going. If they get into a bumping match, I think Chad's the better rider when it comes to riding defensive and putting aggressive moves on his competition. James may be known for his explosive speed, but that isn't as much of an advantage on a tighter track, and Chad isn't a slouch by any means. Hopefully they both start at the back and have to move forward, that'll make for some good racing!

Chad is a good guy. My mate and I went to his camper after the MXON and he signed a poster for my little bro and let us take a photo. He was very friendly. Hope he does well this year!

Chad is honest and straight shooting. Some people like that and some don't either way he's always doing his best. You don't need to look to far to see Chad supporters at a race event.

Characters are good for the sport so are forums for the internet, with out either we all would suffer!

i'm an aussie , and a reed fan ( of course ! ) BUT . . . .on one side of the coin i like how chad seems to speak his mind and not some pre-manufactured crap that he has been told to say by sponsers etc. . . . .other side of the coin - this bike bogging rubbish , pleeeeeeeeease ! factory race bike, worth a motza , i think it would run okay ! and i'm sure bubba will have no complaints about it.

I bet he will if/when he starts loosing. I'd complain about bogging if the pig put me over the bars on a scarily consistant basis, especially when one trip could end your career or life - let's not mention what it would do to your confidence .....
