So, RCH is now "RCH Factory Suzuki"?

This is why I'm still effing confused on who gives out the penalty! FIM or WADA?

From Matthes twitter:

"He didn't get caught w a performance enhancing drug like EPO, HGH etc..it was a stimulant. BIG difference."

"I don't know what JS7 gets for a penalty from USADA but there's ZERO % chance he gets 2 yrs like people are throwing out there."

"I will still be amazed if he misses any SX races. I've just been around a long time.. FIM, AMA, Feld ALL have reason 4 JS to be there."
WADA provides the guidelines and FIM decides the penalty. That is my understanding.
No. WADA dictates penalties too. If WADA did not have a say in penalties, then why would there be all the recent stories about WADA doubling penalties in the future?

http://www.si.com/more-sports/2013/11/15/wada-doping-penalty-doubled-fo…

WADA absolutely dictates the penalties. When you sign up to have WADA be your AD agency...that is what you sign up for. WADA does not give a crap about SX and Stew. They are out to send a message.

Didnt he re-sign for 2015 with an option to race in 2016 aswell?

Sure is, especially when you use it as a heading to a top article on a website! Have made that slip once before lol.

I have been saying from the start that the shortest penalty possible for Stew is a 1 year ban, with two being possible. Apparently few here have taken the time to review the WADA and USADA penalty history for positive stimulant test results. They do not mess around. Remember...it is not about Stew...it is about sending messages to other athletes.
First, you seem to know some facts about the sanctioning bodies and who/what they represent, however, what you don't know are litigating circumstances. What has been proven? What has been provided? Lastly how all this will be upheld/represented from both parties? Too many unknowns to be talking about a year or 2 year suspension. Does not matter who has gotten penalized in the past.

Just so you understand, in a sport as small as ours Stewarts draw does hold water, some of the members do have a point on the draw he brings. Their will be decisions to make and money will be a contributing factor in the outcome. This is a business after all, they are in it to make money. It is not like the Olympics where nations pay to uphold a countries athelete.

They can dictate whatever they want, but rulings enforced are not up to them.

the only thing this has to do with James Stewart is that he was the one that failed.

doesn't matter if his name is Joey Davis, same penalty whatever that may be.

It'd be smart for them to merge. Suzuki is risking a lot by putting all of their eggs in one basket, so it'd be cool if they actually do team up.

WADA doesn't have the final say. They can help decide a penalty but at the end of everything it is whatever FIM thinks is appropriate. WADA assigns penalty's in other sports, and the Olympics. Not supercross.

Know in every one of the posts you make always has to do with your "research", Surprised you haven't figured out in baseball your first offense is a warning, not a 1 year ban.

Know stop speculating about his penalty in every single post like this and let FIM make the final decision.

good maybe they can exchange the lame graphics for something that looks Factory level. RCH needs a major lift in their appearance. it reeks of a team who's into seeing MX become more like NASCAR, my greatest complaint with Carmichael.

if it's RCH Factory Suzuki, make the "stickers" look like factory mx. we are our own sport, and we're more like surfing than NASCAR when it comes to look n' feel.

I meant Yoshimura Suzuki and RCH Suzuki merging into one team under the same rig, combining staff and bringing in a 250 rider. Thank you for the kind words, though.

Easy bro. I do not really think the punishment fit the crime in this case. I get you might not like the guy. But, at the end of the day we are all moto people. I respect anyone that is a fan of moto to some extent.

Mutual respect, both have accomplished a lot in racing and I highly doubt any sort of rivalry at this point.

Since this thread started about RCH Factory Suzuki (not js talk) I am confused how to support this effort. Should I work on pissing my money away by developing a gambling disease, cover my body with permanent ink, get a flat bill hat, or learn to appreciate top 40 music like Pink? Just asking.

I don't think you really know what you're talking about.

USADA and WADA do not care whether it's Cycling, football, Olympics or motocross. They do not care if it is business.

They have a job to do and they will ban JS7 if he is found guilty to at least their minimum ban for that type of offence. There is no leniency because of FELD or "business".

Wow clearly I have no idea what im talking about!!!!

Dude get a clue, Wada has nothing to do with enforcing any such penalties! Therefore it is up to the acting controllers/owners to figure what punishment/penalty if any to be handed down to that said rider...in the Olympics, Wada controls everything from investigations to enforcing punishments on failed results, acting Olympics committee has given them that right. Feld/fim Ama, Pro sports has not, why do you think he was able to ride outdoors? Most of our American National sports groups do not even use Wada/Usada...

So again money can and will come into play, money controls everything.

You either have testing and rules or you don't. Just because he's a draw doesn't mean he should get treated differently.

What is James appealing ? is it his failing the test ? I didn't think you could appeal until the punishment has been set.

Unadilla'05 is the worst it ever got, and RC was understandably lit over being landed on by what he perceived as insane (not the good kind) riding by James. Other than that they always displayed enormous respect for the other, I believe they truly recongnized the others greatness and acted accordingly. Doesn't mean it didn't get real as shit on the track but they always shook hands, and really meant it I believe. Hell even Chad and Ricky were buddy buddy on the Suzuki test track, barely two years removed from a much more venomous rivalry.
