Can people specify what two countries they are talking about? I assume one of the countries is USA.

"American racer Mike Alessi is currently looking for a deal to race the 2015 FIM Motocross World Championships"

"nterestingly Blake Baggett was also talking to GP teams earlier in the year, although as we speak there wasn’t a place for the former American champion for 2015"

Yes c3011

I have no facts to back this up with whatsoever, but my opinion from hearing the story of RV to Europe unfold is that there must be Youthstream cash involved on some level. The story came out from GL and YS way before any teams or riders started to mention it.

So you're saying the USA doesn't have great places to travel? Our country is massive and we have a lot of different things to experience here. Get off your European high horse. AC could experience just as many great things and gain as many great memories as any American going to Europe.

2 very, very different countries that both have great experiences to offer.

Just a few points...

Europe is now a country?!

Thailand is not in Europe.

Nor is Qatar

Or Brazil

Don't think Mexico is in the country of Europe either - could be wrong?

Do they sell maps or globes in 'merica?

Continent. Whatever man. I don't claim to be a geography expert. I made a mistake. 2 different "continents" I'll even fix it in the original post. Just to make you happy. Now, can we talk about moto or should we all petition to GuyB and get this site changed to vitalGeography or something?

And yes I realize Brazil and Mexico are not on the same continent as some of the other European countries. But I'm not explaining it every time I want to post. So I'm going to say continent. Get over it fella and go check out national geographics website if you're that interested in it

Edited for one spelling error

Haha, 2 continents doesn't work either. The GP races this year take place on 4 continents- Europe, Asia, North America & South America I think

No maps or globes sold in tUSA.

We do sell top-shelf motocross riders that are available for hire to put on an 18 round riding clinic.

I personally believe that the U.S. Americans are unable to do so because some people out there in our nation don't have maps, and I believe that our education like, such as, South Africa and the Iraq, everywhere like, such as. And I believe that they should, our education over here in the U.S. should help the U.S., uh, should help South Africa and should help the Iraq and the Asian countries, so we will be able to build up our future...

That picture of RV laughing reminds me of the first time I saw a unicorn being ridden by a sasquatch.

Not to sidetrack the thread, but if it is true that Alessi is looking for a ride in Europe for 2015, and I was a GP team owner interested in signing him, I would make it an absolutely ironclad, deal-breaking, non-negotiable item in his contract that neither his father nor his brother were allowed anywhere at, in, or around the team, the team pits, the team rig, the team practice track, or any other location professionally connected to team activities.

In other words, no Tony, no Jeff, no way, no how.

Ever.

Ok, back to original thread content.

If he comes , it will be great, it will be a long season , and as i have said before, it will be interesting to see what he does in the off weekends.

Quite a few new tracks next year too , so he wont be at a disadvantage.. and by the time Lommel comes round he will be sick of the place already.

I don't think the length of the season (in amount of time not races) and the number of off weekends will bother him...in fact it will be to his advantage because he is used to the race day (weekend) being faster paced and a season that has many more races in a shorter period of time.
