Especially in regard to Stewart. I know he's out, he pulled out of last race but it seems like we are always left to speculate. They are very vague in there description with what's going on and it leaves us fans just wondering what the hell is really going on.
Do we have a right as fans and does the team have a responsibility to tell us exactly what is going on-the truth-no politics? Do us fans have a right to know the entire truth or is there a certain privacy that is left for them even though they are professional riders on a team with a paycheck?

I just think the sport is too small to support real, revenue-producing news outlets - for news sake. I mean, I was on RacerX today reading the interview with RjH. Not to knock CStallo, but I counted multiple simple grammar errors, and that's one of our top news outlets. Can you imagine Fox Sports putting something out like "Lebron leaving Miami too play in Cleveland". I know, subtle but stay with me.
Let's call it like it is, moto media is all about the photos and the cool 'edits' (videos). That's what brings in the views because it's all about this moto lifestyle. What's not the lifestyle is real professional news that involves hard interviews or investigative anything. I would say Matthes tries to do it, but the industry just isn't geared that way, and I think the factories and top athletes can exploit the niche for what it is, small, and get by without letting the sport rule their lives. That's probably the way it should be, and I think to some degree that makes our sport intriguing. Sometimes it's frustrating for the fans though.
Vital rant of the week - check! Bring on dilla.
None of this drama would have ever happened if they had followed the playbook earlier and filed a TUE as expected.

- Release that kind of statement: "Since i got busted for taking amphetamines in Supercross i had to stop taking it. That's too bad cause my 1/1 at High Point really showed that this stuff works and prevented me from stupid crashes due to a lack of focus. After that my results went into a downward spiral, but were still somehow decent. Even though i wasn't able to focus just as much as i used to, at least i still had my IV's in between motos to help my fitness throuhougt the day. Unfortunatly my nurse talked about this and i had to stop receiving those as well. I've attempted to ride Milville's second moto but as soon as the gate dropped i realised that i was actually dehydrated and tired from the first moto, and just wasn't high enough on hard drugs to run a full moto without crashing. Since then, i rather not race than do so without any unfair advantage on my competitor. I just can't rely only on my natural talent, even though i'm the fastest rider ever.I am now waiting on Feld and Wada to tell me if i'm going to be suspended for 2015, and if so i will retire after tearing apart my legacy within 6 months or so. If i didn't have all those millions to make myself feel better, i might just commit suicide."
Wich otpion would you have picked if you were him?
I get it. in all sports and especially in MX/SX a rider can go out at at any time so they do not always know, but if there is a bigger way they owe it to the people that make it possible for them to live the living they do (fans/customers of sponsors) to share a bit more than the average person would in any situation.
You live from the public....you have to live with the public.
I am just saying when you are an athlete, musician or any other figure that makes $$$ off of a fan base you cannot go and say
"You have no right to know anything that *insert name here* does not want to tell you"
When you live off of the public eye you cannot just take your ball and go home.
NOT YOUR BUSINESS.
When it comes to these guys.
Have fun now.
On a side note, here in France and i believe in all Europe, it's always been mind blowing for everybody that US doctors give amphetemine based meds to ADD kids. The fact that these doctors are so prone to diagnose ADD to so many kids, sometimes just cause they aren't quite enough or don't do well in school is just as mind blowing to us.
Anyways, back to my post; even though i've obviously exagerate to try and make it funny, do you really think his actual situation is that far off what i wrote?
