my bank account shows otherwise .....Laughing

Ricky Carmichael never let James Stewart have one supercross (fim world title was stupid) or outdoor title while those two raced against each other. 15 titles against 5 and somehow you still think Stewart was in the same league as Carmichael because he got a few wins here and there? Thats silly..

MX "races" are made up of two motos.

This thread is just a weak attempt to prop up JSE anyway.
"To prop up James Stewart Entertainment"? What does that even mean?

Cool stats. So RC has 50 more wins and 10 more championships. Including 4 out of 4 against Stewart. He's not ahead on all counts though, he had one less reality show than Stew and one less positive drugs test.

Oh yeah, RC retired much earlier while still on top as well.

This falls in with the "should SX wins count for more points" posts that pop up whenever JS wins 2 in a row. Suddenly, he is the best on the track and if wins counted for more he would be leading and win the whole thing. Of course when RV comes back and wins out the rest of the season, those same people are silent.

They are both great riders, but don't try to knock RC's ability by over inflating a single stat (which appears to be twisted anyway)

Pretty much what he said. Stewart never beat RC for a title so imo they dont compare.

JS crashed more cause he has balls and pushed the limit more. Most fans prefer balls-out going-for-it over slow and steady and finishing first if the faster riders crash....there are lots of riders like that, and yeah, it's fine...but people love JS7 cause he was / sometimes still is the fastest rider on the track, the crashes are just part of the risks. Now that he is older though and had his share of injuries, it might be time for him to try the slow and steady technique for a change, but he is about to retire, so knowing James, he will give it his all balls-out once again his final sx season.

Are you saying that RC was "slow and steady"...because you obviously have never watched any of his races!

Easy, The Monark is cooking the books to make his guy, JSE, look good. His math is flawed. Of course we all that, I assume? That's the joke here.

And I refer to James as JSE because that's what he is/does. He's just an entertainer, not a real racer.

You have obviously overlooked the much coveted WSX title of 2005. If Lenny were here he would have already told you about it.

This sport is more complicated then some numbers. RC is mind blowing when you look at his stats, JS7 is mind blowing when you watch him ride. RC is a beast/machine, JS7 a freaking wizard. That guy has the ability to bend the law of physics.

I didn't see that until you mentioned it, plus you said it was stupid. Obviously you don't understand the weight of a WORLD SUPERCROSS TITLE. I only wish Lenny was here to embellish the enormity of this major award.

Your original flawed math. Texas state standards I guess?

RC has 150 wins...15 Championships...10 race wins per championship...
JS has 100 wins...5 Championships....20 race wins per championship....
In other words JS wins twice as many races....

I am so glad someone created a thread to discuss whether RC or JS are the better rider. I'm hoping one of these days someone posts a 2-stroke vs. 4-stroke thread. We really need to have that discussion.

2 Stroke sometimes, 4 stroke sometimes.

The topic should be The Monarks lack of math skills.

It sure is entertaining when he comes from behind in supercross and makes the worlds best look silly.... But that's not racing, just a circus

We're making progress. Circus, that's a good description of Team JSE.

Too bad he can't do that more than once a season, no?

Touché,indeed that wld require far more adderall! In all seriousness I don't understand why many people bash him,i am simply a fan of motocross and sometimes Stuart does things (once a year apparently) that simply no one else is capable of doing. So I don't care how many championships or races he's won, I am a fan because he is entertaining I consider myself very fortunate to have seen him ride....so mock away but the sport will lose a legend when stewart entertainment is no more....
Ps how U can even say he's not a racer? Have u seen his battles with Carmichael and reed etc.u must be high
