Could be a budget thing. I can imagine Bobryshev might be a bit more €€€ then Simpson.....

Searle has never been better on a 450 since the first time he threw a leg over it at the Nations at St Jean.. for whatever reason since then , be it injury , set up or whatever, he hasn't delivered .. CLS don't want to run a 450 , so he has to find a seat , but you can bet that he will be expecting to fill the Kawasaki vacancy .
Simpson has had two solid seasons , he overperformed on the Yamaha , and is doing a great job on the KTM , and I think you can bank on him being a solid #2 in any of the factory teams , should he get the chance , but with 8 riders coming up , who will take that chance.
Nicholls has had a decent , if injury blighted season , for his first 450 year , and is a good fit at STR , and will do well there , provided he stays injury free.
I think that De Dyker is on borrowed time , although my sources tell me he has a budget, and he isn't going to get another factory chance ..
Nagl to Husky seems to be a deal, and I still think he has a chance to shine, he will be a better bet that Rattray or Waters , but I don't know how many years they signed for, but I suspect Rattray is a 2 year deal.
Honda is the key .
In the 250s, he was regularly running with and beating the likes of Van Horebeek and Paulin, and even gave Herlings some excellent races, but in the 450s the former two look comfortably faster than he is. He's struggling to break the top 5, and that's even with some of the other top guys out injured.
Not sure why that might be . . . was the 250 Pro-Circuit backed CLS Kawasaki that he raced in 2011 and 2012 an altogether faster bike than the 450 CLS is? Or is Searle's style simply better suited to riding a 250?
I don't know, but just from a patriotic point of view, i'd love to see him competing up front again.
With loads of new guys coming up , it would be real easy to end up as a guy who can run top 10 but no better, but what we dont know is just how good (or bad) the CLS bike is.
I know he is on the way back from injury, and hope that someone thinks he is worth a punt , he is still young by MX1 standards.

I REALLY hope Bobby gets back to his form when he was a challenger, its been a long road back for him and its just not worked out @Honda.

its a shame kristian whatley never gets offered a good gp ride- shows whats wrong with gps when someone like that can make a better living racing domestically than they can in gps. The top 5 or 6 in the british champs are all plenty fast enough to race in gps but can make more money racing at home! stupid really
I guess the only way he will get a ride next year will depend on how well he goes in the next two races….
That said , I think we have some good talent coming through with Ben Watson and Adam Sterry, they have both ridden well this year , I see Sterry as a Jake Nicholls type of guy , works hard and gets results, and I would love to see him on a 450 .
Watson's to Martens Husky would be good , will be checking that one out later ..

They both deserve it , Ben Watson has grown into the MX2 bike well, and Sterry has been top drawer all year , think they will both go a long way.
