For those that are reading through the vagueness, he's saying that Jerry Robin is leading the 250 A class on his 1985 Honda CR250R. I'm going to say it's the amateur day races at Red Bud.

He has been from time-to-time lately. I know Jerry posted something on twitter about winning a local A race (may have been an LL qualifier) on it recently.

Oh good stuff, I didn't know that, it sounds like he's a good guy, I watched an interview a few weeks ago and he didn't have any help yet.

It's actually through one of the owners, I think it's Grondahl. Not quite on the same direct support as say Jordan Smith or Hampshire.

Edit: Actually it might be Jeff Majkrzak helping him out... I can't remember which.

Nice. How's the A class turnout at Red Bud? I'm headed to Hurricane Hills, hoping for a nice gate.

Matthes made mention one time that Robin and Majkrzak lived close to each other and hooked him up with some old team bikes.

Hes on a new bike not his old bike... and it's Jeff Majkrzak which is why craig has been training him.

Doesn't hurt that the Jerry Robin story was a good story and not the usual vital poison. Smile

Good to know he is in good hands !

The fan base is already there and riding the 85 occasionaly will only make it bigger, especially when winning the amateur at Reeeeeedddddd Buuuuuuuud! Smile

Since he knows how to ride a 2 strokes, it would be cool in the future to see him lining up a couple pro races in the season on a good AF ! (like Roczen did at the Italian GP when he was world champ)
