while i will never complain about the great vids on the mx websites....i don't understand why every damn one of them has that lame crusty 1 punk rock crap blaring in the background. can't the music evolve a bit? that was fucking 13 years ago...example...

Awesome post Hammer. My sentiments exactly. I actually perfer to hear no music at all...just bike sounds. I mute all the MX videos just so I don't have to listen to the crappy Gangsta bullshit music.

I know the answer, Hammer. You see, Transworld is "Core" (note the capital C). They are so core, in fact, that they take really great riding footage and make it way better by putting the most core music that any core person could ever desire.

They are core, I tell you.

They fucking ruin every video that they produce with that shit. Is their reader base mostly 15 year olds? If so, I sure as hell wouldn't drop advertising dollars in a rag that serves a group with very little purchasing power.

The new Cudby vid had decent music and you could still hear the bikes.

I too hate when they cover the bike sounds with that stupid punk or rap crap. Might as well cover the four-stroke sound with a KDX or the old two-smoke vids with some XR tunes.

I started a thread like this also on the old motodrive 2-3 yrs ago. That shite is like the mullet/goatee of MX, so yesterday. Of course the assholes shouted the idea to change up the tunes down..
