I don't know anything about this, just had a thought. What if RV takes what Reed has been saying to heart and decided he's too young to retire. Backs it down a bit and enjoys being a professional motorcycle racer a little more. Doesn't walk away now or at the end of 2015, maybe do a year in Europe just for the experience. Just thinking out loud.

good point and i can't argue there.

all i'm saying is dude got pretty sore in the pants when anyone questioned him. it's a pretty substantial rumor to be throwing around so it's pretty understandable that people are going to question it.

RV getting rid of Aldon might not be so far fetched. In ways I hope it's kind of true. I'd like to see the dude have a little more fun out there and not take it so damn serious. Extend his racing career 2 - 3 yrs........wishful thinking.

RacerX VT just tweeted Keefer and asked if he had a source and Keefer replied apparently not. To which RacerX VT said he talked to Aldon personally and he said ther was no truth to the rumor.

When did I say I didn't believe what he said or the information he posted? I have no problem with he said. Hell, I would say it's a good possibility that what he said is very true. I just don't get how you can get upset when you someone asks you for your source. Also, why is it "laughable" to want a source?

Sure, but there are 10 b.s. rumors to one legitimate here. How is everybody supposed to sort it all out. The people who want specific sources are as dumb as those who expect everyone to believe them just because "they heard it". It's a rumor and that's it. All stories start as rumors first (usually here) but hardly any rumors wind up being stories. I have had the same thing happen to me, but you shouldn't be insulted if people don't believe a post from an anonymous person on a board. Get over yourself.
