Whatever he took, it wouldn't have even kicked in til after the race!! What moto was this? Even if it was the main, he still barley would've been able to feel it. Not sure what it was, I thought I remember Ralf saying something about it. That would've been really stupid to take anything on the line, why not in the motorhome 2min before he was on the gate? Who knows, nothing would surprise me now. Some people are just that arrogant...

It shouldn't be a surprise to any of you either. People in the spotlight are going to present to us who they want us to believe they are, but that doesn't mean thats who they really are. You have to portray a good guy image in a family sport, but who knows what kind of people all these guys really are around their homies & family...

Its not a "good look" to those that don't want it to look good. The rest of us could care less. I can tell you one thing for sure, this will show someones angle on just about every JS issue going forward when it keeps being brought up by a select few.

Oh, and comparing JS to Lance Armstrong just throws you into the select few bucket. Congrats.

James has suffered occasional stomach / panic issues at races for a long time (US Open, Bercy...).

It was a pretty serious deal and I heard he had been hospitalized back home at some point to find out was was going on (don't know the outcome, if any).

As most in this sport, he did not communicate on the matter, probably to not show any weakness to his competition.

I'm no doctor but I could see him developing some kind of stomach burn with the stress of the race and take some anti-acid before the start to prevent that, for instance ?

Apparently, taking Aderrall right before the effort would be stupid (and do it for everyone to see, even more stupid).

In today's context, those photos are a nice find, though !

I watched the MEC that night....I never caught it with all else that was going on in the moment........maybe that was the play to hide in plain sight?
