I think single axle 6X12 or 7X14 dual I know I will spend more money on the 7X14 but 2 bikes a PW50 tool chest and gear and extra bike or 2 once in awhile should be good 2 go in a 6X12 save some money get better quality!

What does everybody recommend brand wise!

I recently went through purchasing a trailer and I can say I did not like the Patriot line of trailers sold by Trailer Plus. I purchased what is considered an level trailer again. The brand I bought is Lark. Previously I had a Cargo Mate. They both seem compatible and make up about the same. Cargo Craft is another entry level I looked at that I was considering but the price was higher. Like anything else if you maintain it properly it should last a long time. A lot of these trailers come out of the same plants around the country so don't get confused when some of the different brands start looking alike to you. Oh, and get the radial tire upgrade...typically $35-50 a tire. You do not want the cheap bias ply tires sold on most of these. You'll be changing flats before you even get home with the thing.

3 full size bikes is a squeeze in a 6 x 12 if you put a workbench in it. One bike has to go in backwards. You would then have to squeeze gear bags and gas cans in where you can. On the plus side I can move my trailer around pretty easily just pushing it. With a 2 axle, it might be a little more work.

Ya I like the single axle 7x12 easy to move it will be in my garage and really only 2 bikes and a pw50 tool chest and gear and misc stuff! 3 bike maybe 4 once in a blue moon!

Shit man, we'd haul 8 full size bikes in a 6 x 12 to Island races for supermoto in a 6x12 and be more than comfortable.

For two bike bikes and a 50 I could easily do that in a 5 x 8 and carry everything you'd need for a weekend and your buddy's stuff as well.

If you're bringing a machine shop to the track with you, you need to get your shit together before race weekend. Time, not space, is your enemy on race weekends. It's cheaper to bring spare parts than haul a machine shop behind you. Especially if you have a shop that sponsors you and will let you return them to the shelf on monday. What can you manufacture in the short time between motos that justifies the expense?

Not a fan of single axle trailers. At least it has electric brakes so when it start wiggling all over the road you can hit the brakes to settle her down.

I have a Jeep Grand Cherokee limited V6 I will be pulling it with until I get a new full size pick up next year and its alot easier to move around with single axle by myself because I will have it in my garage. I would get a dual axle maybe next one. This one looks like it has alot o upgrades and I can get it for 3000.00

If you think I should just get a dual axle know and my jeep will do the trick for now then maybe I will just get a 7x14 dual axel now and be done till I get a toy hauler.

2014 Freedom Motorcycle Trailer. 7x12 V-Nose enclosed.

E-X Lube "Dexter" drop axle for easy lubrication. Electric brakes to allow trailer and pulling vehicle to slow at same speed. Break away kit secures trailer if it comes unhooked. 32" side door with kickplate & bar lock securing your load, rear spring assisted ramp door with camlocks and extension flap for easy on/off loading. 3/4" plywood floors, 3/8 plywood walls/ 6' interior height. Aluminum jeep style fenders, 24" ATP stone guard all around to protect from chipping and road wear. Interior dome light, 1 roof vent and 2 side aluminum flow through vents allows you to store items so moisture is reduced. 15" radial tires and radial spare giving maximum efficiency with the pulling vehicle. 6-D rings for motor cycle tie downs. Stabilizer jacks for secure balance when loading and unloading. Star mag wheels for that sport look! Torsion axle for a smoother ride. Floor trap in floor for electrical hook-up. Charcoal Grey. Nice trailer but I would not want the windows. Too easy for a crook to look inside and see what's available to steal. You could always tint them out with 0% tint, but that's additional cost.

Also, I've never been a fan of people who run stickers/decals/vinyl wraps on trailers because you're just advertising to the public what's inside to steal.

I have a 7x14 v-nose. I usually haul 4 full sized bikes, a quad, 2 mountain bikes, generator, pressure washer, gas, and gear pretty easily, but kind of wish I have a 16'.

The one you show located in Indiana I would sell Brand New for around $3,700 so that looks like a pretty fair deal.
We all have our opinions...some of the advice on here I like and some I disagree with.
On a 7' wide, you can easily fit 3 full size bike along the front if you stagger them.
If you stick with the small SUV you might want to consider a trailer with electric brakes.
On a brand new trailer adding electric brakes to a single axle trailer $150
Any tandem axle trailer should come standard with electric brakes or don't buy it.

I have a 6 x 12' V-nose single axle, I have it set up as a "slant load". Down the left side, to the front corner I have a piece of angle iron 2" x 2" with notches cut out for the front tires (actually used a horse shoe as a pattern). There are holes drilled into the horizontal of the angle iron for caribiners to put tie downs into.

It leaves the floor very open and I can and have transported 5 full size bikes with ease. My intention is to buy/build a cabinet above the seat height in the v-nose and a drop down workbench/table down the right side.

Your thoughts on being able to move it around easy are very valid and why I ultimately went with what I have. Pulling with that V-6 is going to be a chore. The engine may be willing, but it is brutal on transmissions with all of that wind resistance.

This is my 6 x 12 trailer. Its been an awesome trailer but i would for sure want to go bigger next time im in the market. I have some buddies with the 8.5" wide, i think that's the way to go.

I had my trailer since 2003. TLC has kept it looking good. It's 7 x 14, wish I had gone with 16'. Kept it simple inside, the workbench is collapsible which still gives me plenty of room.

That is a sweet set up you got there! I like it. If you had a choice you would do a 7X16? or what if you had a v nose adds 2 foot.

V-Nose all the way. Definitely make it 16 foot. That two extra foot I really wish I had now.

Other option is a used 7X12 single axle used 2014 $3600
