So i picked this project up last week from a friend last week that cant finish it so he sold it to me for $450, most everything was there but all the parts were in boxes accept the motor was in the frame, the forks were on the frame and so was the swing arm. i started going through the parts and figured out what i needed to get ($1500 later) i got what i needed. i got a sweet new bud racing pipe that came in the mail today along with some light speed frame guards. i order a lot of stuff like plastics, numbers, oem parts, bars etc that im waiting on to get here. when i got the bike the rims were tore apart so those im dropping off to get powder coated on Saturday, i've never had wheels powder coated so i hope they last? has any one else ran powder coated rims? and im wondering if this bikes going to be fast enough? or if i should do a 144? (im 15, 115 pounds) ive had a cr125 (slowest bike ever haha) and i have a ktm150sx, i uderstand its not going to be any were near my 250 or my ktm but im just hoping its not going to be like my cr. ill post more pics once parts show up

Looking fwd to following your progress, take lots of pics! (i have a soft spot for RM125's)
btw: Do i see a killer carbon fiber frame guard to go along with the CF silencer? very nice!

Pit Row
moto seat, ignition cover, and hoses came in. still waiting on my order from bto and my plastics. bike should be done by the end of next week, accept for rims. the powder coat guy flaked out on me so idk what im gonna do about rims...
Reminds me of the old days with true "works" bikes.
Does anyone know of a standard size black or white tank available for an rm125? Right now, the bike has white fenders and number plates, but a yellow tank. I have an idea of what I'd like it to look like, but not with a yellow tank.
