During the pulp show, Matthes and Reeds little buddy were getting into the debate about bike set up affecting a certain riders moto finishes at Thunder Valley when Reed chimes in and says " I dont even like the guy your talking about....but I can side with him on this bla h bla bla..." .... they were talking about stewart obviously...I guess I dont understand the why he needs to add that type of stuff...yes we know you and stewart are not bros - we been hearing it for 12 years.....some people eat it up I guess....

What's with the love/hate feelings toward Chad Reed? I have to admit at first I liked him, 03 to about 06, then I couldn't stand him from 07 to 10. Then he became likable in 11 and he's back to being a douche again. He's twice the drama queen of anyone! I don't think his sponsors really appreciate smart ass remarks on national tv and media.

You don't think Reed has more to ride for than Nicoletti. Reed has a whole fucking team to support. I guarantee Reed has a lot more to lose if he is injured. If Nicoletti doesn't get a ride, he goes and works at Walmart. If Reeds injured through stupidly its going to cost him a lot more than just a ride. Like most of you I didn't see it so I don't know. You're taking this a bit personal. When you're at the level of what Chad is, you either:

1. Say whatever and whenever the fuck you want, but be prepared to have everything you say dissected and ripped apart online.

IMO...Chad is the senior rider out there, and he is supposed to be a badass...he is supposed to win! But...
Chad is not winning.
Chad is not being able to race himself into shape.
Chad rushed to get out there & race, so sponsors (and his ego) would be satisfied.
Chad is probably still hurting...a lot.
Chad is frustrated that he's not as fast as he's supposed to be...and is running with back markers now.
Chad is frustrated that guys like Nicoletti are racing him aggressively.
Chad is under pressure from sponsors to put their logos on the podium.
Chad gets the holie...and either fades, or crashes out of the top-5.
Chad is not winning...but James Stewart is.
Chad is not happy.
Chad speaks out of his frustration & unhappiness.

No one has to see the incident to have an opinion. We only need to compare how each reacted after the fact which was recorded in their own words so there is no room for opinion, only the facts. When it was all said and done, they both got the chance to let cooler heads prevail, leave it on the track and hit the reset button. One took the high road and one didn't. That should tell you all you need to know.

Apparently you don't know who Chad's wife is. I'm sure 22 Motosports is running on thin margins, but I doubt he's paying much out of pocket to race.

Am I the only one that sensed Reeds sarcasm in his interview last night? Reed is pretty intense, but he also has a pretty gruff sense of humor. I didn't notice anyone comment on Reed mentioning that his reaction after the race was probably out of his own frustration of his performance..

I wouldn't expect any "backmarker" to pull over for Reed just because he's Reed. You're only as good as your last race right?

Does that make it easier to understand Griebys post?
