No. But I was at the Kawi dealer yesterday and some Monster rep guy was setting up a display and said talk at the offices were Rv threatened Kawi and Monster he was going to retire if he was forced to race outdoors.
Also that 99% chance he wont race outdoors next year either. I Guess he is over this sport.

A long time ago, a Kawi dealer told me RV was going to retire in 2008 because he didn't care about the sport and didn't want to race 450s.

I guess they stay in Vail for a while and do the rehab?

I couldn't think of a much better place to spend a few weeks. Actually, Vail is pretty boring, especially since the ski season just ended. But Lindsey Vonn might be in town, and I am in love with her.

Vail is home to the steadman hawkin ortho clinic. One of the best ortho groups in the world. They are all the US ski and snowboard team drs. They get lots of big time athletes there and are known for there advance in orthopedic medicine. If I were ever to have an injury I wouldnt even look for anywhere else to go. They would be my first priority.

People talk. He also said they knew 2 months ago he was probably done for the year and him announcing no outdoors wasnt any surprise at all.

I guess we will see when or if he races outdoors next year or quits.

Big ski town....skiing produces more knee injuries than anything..my guess is there are some good specialists...
