What's the deal with this photo from the Dutch GP coverage? The bike has white number plates instead of black:

Okay, so only the front plate needs to be black. That's different than how it's done in 'Merica.

I just looked at some other pictures and I think it`s only CLS Monster who has white background.

If I'm not mistaken, only the front plate has to be black with white numbers and the side plates are free to use for whatever they want. I think they can even choose not to have numbers on the side plates, but full sponsor logo's.
