Jimmy!
Trey seems to gel with it sure, but he's also a company man through and through. Trey wouldn't say anything bad about someone less it was that shady character in the bible.
Barcia and Eli have been pretty open about their struggles with it tho.
Barcia, yeah...but my own little opinion is that Tomac just can't get comfy on a 450, period, yet any way. He's perfected the art of throwing a 250f around like a toy while keeping the throttle pinned...but that doesn't work on the 450's so much. I think he'll get it figured out in 2015 though.
Whatever it is, I always laugh when a pro rider says he can't get comfortable and people question it. Sure some might be better testers than others but I bet all of them know when they feel good or not.
The only bike that I can't remember him crying about is yellow. Wouldn't be surprised if my memory is failing me.
Now I don't know if these bikes are crap or not, and neither do you. What I do know is that each time Chad blames the bike I believe him less and less. Him shitting on the Honda was expected.
1) observing the race - 20 guys spread out hundreds of yards.
2) processing the action inside his head.
3) listen to what the other show host's are saying and processing that.
4) then in a fraction of a second, with no time to ponder, spit out (articulate) what ever you can come with in that millisecond.
When your on the hot seat on live TV and your not a regular weekly race commentators (and Chad isn't ) it can be freaking nerve racking.
Throw you self into this mix and see how you perform - ITS LIVE TV - Chad's a guest fill in.
Nit Picking and after the show is over!
The Honda changed completely and he wouldn't stop going on about how much he liked the 11 and 12. Fact he still does. Funny, the other Honda guys seem to be thinking the same.
The Kawi changed to a new frame from 10 to now and again, he says he loves it. Just like RV and Weimer
The 03/04 Yamaha he said he loved, they went to a completely new frame and frame material and he said he didn't like the change, same with DV and Ferry.
Who's the whiner. The pro stating his opinion on the bike (Which aligns with a bunch of other riders) or the guy constantly bitching on a forum?
Tomac wasn't out all that time before just because he was hurt, he hates the 450 too.....none of the Honda guys are happy with the bike, it's not a secret
"The rider interviews suck. All they do is thank their sponsors and they are robots.
Reed gives nothing but his honesty and point of view.
"All Reed does is bitch and complain about everything. He needs to shut up."
You just can't win with moto fans.
I have ZERO problem with Chad saying he is uncomfortable on a particular bike.
I take umbrage with Chad throwing the bike under the bus and saying that the bike is bad for everyone, not just him.
Newsflash!!! Normal folk never knew how to make a 82 YZ100 perform at the level of Diamond Don's moto 3 either. Fast guys go fast, it's what they do. Laugh a minute around this joint!
You and Grizz just pretty much summed up Vital.
JJO741 yelling at Chad Reed "you needs to shut up."
Pit Row
he may have looked better at the beginning of the season, but the season means the beginning, the middle, and the end.
Occasionally crashing because you're pushing it like Millville 11 or Dallas 12 and talking about not being comfortable with bike setup, ie the 2013 bike aren't the same thing at all. San Diego this year a rider got a little jiggy in front of him and clipped a wheel.
You're reaching. Far.
Post a reply to: Reed's comment " Barcia has a bunch of talent to make that bike work ".
