Flying up Friday afternoon with the wife and taking the train to our downtown hotel. Planning on hitting up my annual Seattle traditions of Zeek's Pizza, Planet Java, and Comedy Underground. Just couldn't talk her into Friday night's A's vs Mariners game.
Felix is pitching. Make her reconsider.

Looking forward to my yearly lunch ritual at Tat's.

Damn dude thank you!! Awesome gesture for sure. I made plans since I posted this , since I felt like I really , really needed to do something if I wasn't going to the race. Were having a practice day at my buddies track and riding until late day , then get cleaned up , watch some SX and drink some beers. I have a feeling once I sit down in his nice comfy couch , and a few beers later.....I will permanently there until the next morning haha. Thanks again for the offer though man.....very cool of you!

And TJ......thanks for the info on the EFR place!

Anybody know how I can get 6 people into the Seattle Sx whose tickets didn't show up in the mail (at least not yet)? I always get the tickets for our crew, usually from one of the Yamaha dealers, and this year I bought 6 tickets from one of the dealers that would accept visa and (supposedly) mail the tickets. I bought the tickets last Friday and they still haven't shown up. I called the bike shop yesterday and they assured me the tickets were mailed. When they didn't show up today I called the bike shop again and it sounds like the tickets were not mailed until Tuesday(!?!).

Anywho, if the tickets don't show up tomorrow I'll be out $228 and will have some disappointed friends. I suppose I'll have to pop for 6 nose-bleed seats and hope we can talk our way into our original seats. Anybody know of a better way to get in and use our seats?

Thx.

Hey guys, what's a good time to show up at the Seattle race? Weather looks nice. When do things get going? I want to get there and cruise the pits, watch practice, but it's also a very long day? Any advice from the past?

The gates open at 1230. Make sure to bring a monster can to get in the pits

I like to get in early, especially if there are kids along, and wander the pits and take in practice from seats other than wherever we're sitting that night.

Speaking of seats, my tickets just showed up so all that anxiety was for nothing (ok, so there wasn't really any anxiety but at least it doesn't cost me any more money).

Actually? A monster can gets you free pit pass?

Hahaha I'm not sure if you were being sarcastic?

For the past 2 years it's gotten me into the pits in Seattle and Minneapolis. I usually just pour the vomit down the drain
