Never understood the whole fascination in him... Nothing more than a drug addict loser, in my opinion.

There are so many people who share the same opinion as you, including my dad. It's funny how Nirvana had that effect on that generation of people.

Don't agree with you Huck.
While he may have had problems, He was a great musician.

Cows ass! Dave Grohl was the real talent in that group. Cobain was a dick head. It was suicide, I'm positive. He couldn't handle life.

They said he lived with severe intestine pains that could not be diagnosed.

Grohl puts on an amazing show and is completely relatable to the fans. I'm not a good judge of lyrics but he is a very tallented singer/entertainer and a lot of great musicians have worked with him. Check out Sound City...

Each to their own mate, but foo fighters, while it appeals to the masses, isn't exactly A grade song writing imo (Monkey Wrench???? That's kindergarden shit there).
Not trying to be today's member of the jerk squad, just how I see it. I do like in when he jumps in on qotsa and other projects though

Fan of Cobain. Fan of Nirvana. Fan of Foo. Fan of Grohl.

Don't really care about which of those two guys were "more talented". They were just different. Grohl couldn't have fronted a band like Nirvana and Cobain definitely couldn't/wouldn't have fronted a band like Foo Fighters. If Cobain hadn't have slipped into the deep end of the pool, Nirvana probably would have only had a few more years before they'd have all went in different directions anyway.

I'm just glad I was able to witness some pretty good shows while living in Seattle/Bellevue in the late 80s and early 90s. Seeing those bands live back then was a pretty fortunate thing that just amounted to be lucky enough to be in the right place at the right time.

Thanks for posting that Derpin. Kurt Cobain had a big impact on me and my peers growing up here in the northwest in the 90's. I remember seeing the headline of the Seattle Times news dispenser outside of dairy queen in Auburn that read "Cobain found dead" I remember the Picture was a look inside the door frame with Kurts feet and the butt of the shot gun pictured. Man, don't think I'll ever forget that day.

You can totally feel the inspiration of Kurt's lyrics if you drive through Aberdeen on a rainy, gloomy day. Even on a sunny day for his happier songs. The sign that says "Welcome to Aberdeen- Come as you are" just puts it into perspective for me.

I hope they can that bitch Courtney. Shes a fking slime ball bitch that completely took advantage of Kurt's naive coming from a small town. Watching "Kurt and Courtney" on netflix almost made me sick. The bitch is guilty as fuck!

RIP Kurt

What are you blabbering about? Coming from the King of Meltdowns, I have no idea what you're talking about... I guess it is about time for your semi-annual trip off the reservation. Woohoo

"Work at the farm"? Is that what you call it in Arkansas? Up here we call it "Doin the nasty" I didn't think it got cold enough to need pajamas there, either. Go figure.
