fun watching Barcia's line selection when JS7 got behind him.....

and Bubba has gotta be running some insanely stiff front forks to do what he does, wow...

Wow, just insane. The physics of James' quad in the long rhythm lane just doesn't even make sense. The take off he's hitting is shorter than the wheel base of his bike? Not only does he make the jump work, but he quads over to the landing of the middle table?? Absurd.

Unreal. Watching James jump both sections makes you really appreciate what that dude can do on a dirt cycle.

And how did he slow down so much yet still get Bam Bam in the whoops? Damn

Ken shut out Barcia on the first lap by running him high and making him shut off You can see him turn his head going into the next two corners to see if Barcia was going to retaliate. Then Barcia ran him high to pass for the lead. When Stewart passed Villo, Roczen and Barcia he left them lots of room in the corner on the outside. It looked like Barcia checked up because he just assumed he was going to get run high if he didn't.

Good stuff, Stewart went past Dungey and Roczen (just to name a few) like they still had their bikes on the stand.

Barcia raced him clean but several times Stewart moved over to get around him Barcia migrated that direction, there really wasn't any stopping Stewart that night.

Great racing, great videos. The GoPro generation has really enhanced everything it touches.

Barcia raced clean, which many said he couldn't do.

He didn't make any contact with Roczen when he passed him and then dropped him like a sack of taters.

Yes he did, and he screwed up my fantasy picks by not tangling with someone and finishing fourth behind Dungey and Brayton!

Good race for him, his interview with GuyB was good too.

Yuk, yuk, yuk...never heard that one.

You should expand your horizons a little. If the forum is the Dark Side, the homepage is like the Jedi Knight half of Vital. Wink

that triple triple js7 did in split lane doesn't look humanly possible in earlier laps, he must have been so confident to hit that.... absolutely insane ride, haven't seen a rider dominate and do combos nobody else would try for many years. wish they showed him 3 3 that section more on the gopro

I'm really curious at what point Barcia raced "clean". Was it when he was by himself? He constantly moves over on people in the air. Blockpass, and take peoples front wheel out in corners all you want. That's fair game. But when you move over on someone in the air you are a complete danger to yourself and others. There should be some penalties involved with this type of dangerous riding. Watch Stewarts go pro. Barcia crosses the track several times while in the air to block Stewarts line. Ask yourself this: what happens when the other rider is closer to Barcia then he thinks?

James has said this year that he has softened his set up to improve corner speed, and it has impacted how he loads into jump faces... All SX set ups are stiff compared to what us mortals use...but he made it sound like he was running softer than a lot of the other guys...

Barcia fading right in the long rythm section might have had something to do with hanging up a wheel..then casing the 2nd table bad. He was boning that section all night. I still can not figure out how a guy that could not do a step on step off all night managed to hold the lead for that long. Later...going into the whoops...Barcia cuts left over the wall...but Stew later said he had seen him do that for 2-3 laps...and was planning on cutting back to the right in the whoops.

These are big boys...and when they are coming up behind someone..they pay attention. I think Stew knows what to expect when he comes up on Barcia...

I think the rhythm lane and 3-3 before the finish were great but mercy he just destroyed everyone on the wheel tap triple double after the finish line. Most would wheel tap a bit and slam into the first jump and double triple. James looked like he had 4 times as much motor going through there. Incredible.

Has anyone read the racer x interview with Barcia and how he talks about his eyesight? He went to the optometrist and found his eyesight was really bad, and that's why he's been running into people. I really think there might be some merit to it; although he does mean to ride aggressive, perhaps his poor eyesight is making him get closer than he is actually intending?

Go back and look at the entire season. Barcia has almost taken out Roczen alone at least a half dozen times this year in the air. This is a huge danger issue. And they might pay attention, but when it finally does happen, I guarantee that every single person will all of a sudden be sayin the same thing I am right now

I believe Brayton started doing that triple triple on lap 2, well before James. He was also doing the same rhythm through the long rhythm section that Stewart was.

Because your Barcia hate runs too deep. Because this is supercross racing, not street bike riding in a straight line down the highway. Because you are sitting on your couch and not out on the track with the real warriors. Because the track is skinny and blocking someone’s line is common practice in racing. Because Barcia doesn’t have eyes in the back of his head so he moves over to block a line when he hears someone coming, as he should. Because if you don’t think that is good, clean racing then you are a lost cause. Because Barcia made absolutely no contact with Roczen. Because what Barcia is doing out there is not illegal or against the rules. Because Barcia has not be fined for his actions this year.

Barcia has not "almost taken out Roczen alone at least a half dozen times this year in the air". Go back and find these incidents and prove it if you are so certain or if you are going to make these claims. There is only one that I know of.

What about when Stewart darted in front of Brayton on the face of the triple to block his line at around 2:30? What about when Stewart triples on the first lap when others around him do not triple? That seems dangerous too. He shouldn’t do that!!!

What about at 50 seconds on James’ camera when Short lands to the right of the triple and he quickly turns back into the inside left of the next corner? And James is on the left but switches lines and takes the outside of the corner. Oh no! What about at 3:50 when Roczen looks over his shoulder on the triple and quickly makes a dive to the inside line for the sole purpose of blocking Stewart? That also seems very dangerous.

You’ve got hate colored glasses on for Barcia, and you only see him doing these things out on the track. But guess what, that’s racing and every single guy out there is doing the same stuff. You are just blinded by the hate. You want Barcia to just move over like a little bitch like a sick Villopoto? Well, that ain’t gonna happen. Every racer moves out on the track. Every racer changes lanes to block. It's called racing.

Tell me exactly where Barcia cuts in front of Stewart in the air. It absolutely did not happen in Toronto. He cuts in front of him in the whoops and that is absolutely it.

These are all reasons why you should stop watching racing all together and take up ballet.

Maybe try again next year. Supercross racing is dangerous. Get used to it.
