You guys should've licked your wounds and moved on from the Alessi incident. Now you guys are holding yourselves back by pointing the fingers at other people which seems to be the Alessi mantra. I don't think this will help your cause.

Well, if anything this is unappealing because MCR is trying to play the victim card.

BooHoo, everybodies picking on us.

One thing that the AMA gets when reviewing incidents that we're not getting here is the benefit is multiple angles. That would be helpful here.

Not an argument I would have. Your ball, your court...And your working peers. Not saying I'd do anything different, but to say you do would be true reference to my sig.

I like Alessi and MCR, but this post is bad marketing on their part. Keep quiet and let the riding speak. After laser gate and Tickle Gate, there is a lot of sour grapes towards the team. Keep quiet and just focus on results. You won't win anymore fans here by complaining about other riders.

I was under the impression that Mike got on well with Reed and rode at his track a fair bit ? Why would you then try and throw Chads rider under a bus like that just to try and justify what Mike did with Tickle. I like Mike and I think he's tries hard and just had a brain fart with Tickle. I really don't think you're helping his cause and should have just let it go.

Some insight into what happens on the track and off the track at the races that people aren't aware of. This is a video of Dean Wilson and Mike Alessi that was taken during the end of last night's main event that didn't get televised. It's a very similar intentional/unintentional t-bone of those we've seen lately.

The video and complaint were presented to AMA immediately following the race and the powers that be at AMA refused to give consideration to the incident in terms of negligence. Is it right for such similar situations that have recently occurred (Alessi/Tickle, Stewart/Barcia) and many more in the past, be handled so differently? It is our belief a fair and objective perspective from fans, teams and AMA is critical to the growth if this sport.

Tony,

If I was Genova, I would deny you acess to the internet until your contract was up with MC. In regards to the video, 1) Wilson is using his brakes, 2) he is turning his motorcycle, 3) he is not on the gas or using the throttle, 4) he comes to a complete controlled stop after contact. 5) Its the final laps of the MAIN EVENT. My opinion which means nothing..... Wilson was trying to dive inside and MA is taking the outside. MA dove in to protect and Wilson does what he can to avoid major contact, which is the end result in this vid, no harm no foul.

Comparing this vid to MA who maliciously ghost rode his bike into Tickle after getting passed during a HEAT RACE is apples to oranges. How can one, or at this point two or more individuals be so blind as to not see the difference. The team and MA should have saved face, acknowledged their errors and moved on, they almost tried to kinda did. Posting this is only making things incredibly worse and giving MA, you and Genova a bad name. As a rider/privateer, I'd ride for free and pay my own way before I would associate my name with this team and group of crybabies. After all the bar banging this week, you see Pieck/Short/Barcia posting crap like this? WOW, when will it end?

Not standing up for the AMA or Wilson...but Wilson doesn't really have a history of torpedoing other riders.
I don't know, Wilson tried to push Tomac off the track at Seattle twice before getting knocked to the ground a year or so ago. Also didn't Baggett complain about him cutting across the track while jumping in outdoors?

@ MCRacing, seems like there's likely more to the story. Do you have video of them prior to this? Not surprised at inconsistency by the AMA though, and glad to see you calling them out for it. I've never been an Alessi fan, really impressed with his last couple rides though.

Dude, get over it. MA took a cheap shot at Broc - this is nothing like that.

Not helping you gain any credibility. I'd be looking to support a different family bro, this one isn't doing your business any favours

I agree with you. Reverse the roles here and put Alessi where Wilson is, and Wilson where Alessi is, and the rabid bloodhounds would be running wild. But you're trying to tell that to the rabid bloodhounds out for blood.

It amazes me that a private team that supports motocross gets so much flack from the motocross community because of their dislike for the Alessi's. Mike has done nothing to warrant the bullshit that some of you are going on about.

How come people with one or two posts always lie and say they had to create an account after all these years of lurking? I'm sure MCR feels special that you waited years to post here just for them.

Is Wilson's foot on the brake?
Does Wilson twist the throttle immediately prior to impact?
If Alessi wasn't there, would Wilson have made the turn?

When Alessi hit Tickle his foot was NOT on the brake, he DID accelerate into Tickle, and no, he never would have made that run regardless if Tickle was there or not.

I love that MCR just keeps on making things worse for themselves. It's so entertaining.
This is spot on.

MCR you just officially just went from being a full blown clown show to running a day care center. Do you need us to send you some diapers and pacifiersWoohoo

Deano was all over the brakes. Did not dump the clutch, and has Alessi not been there would have made the turn.

If you guys think you are going to pull a cheap ass move like Mike did on BT then cry wolf when somebody bumps you you are sadly mistaken.

I now know who you guys need as a title sponsor. Pampers, Huggies, or Gerber you bunch of crybabies.

Gimme a break MCR, Wilson didn't gas it into Alessi, like Alessi did to Tickle. You just confirmed your organization is as idiotic as Alessi is.

no difference...allessi gasses it in this latest video as well..
Wilson front fork compresses pretty good. hense ,the use of a front brake..
how this simulates the same as when allessi gassing it into tickle, while in the race position of Wilson in the latest video,is beyond me.

After reading the response, I'll definitely be in the minority here, BUT I'm gonna say MCR has a point here. I don't see how Alessi gets fined $4k for his move, Mookie gets fined $5k for pushing (really....$5k for PUSHING), but yet the AMA just looks away at Wilson's move here. A shitty move by Wilson for sure and an even shittier response by the AMA.

If you guys would consider the power of suggestive marketing...much like being an attention whore on a message board, there is no difference between good attention and bad attention, as long as it's attention.

Have you noticed that in all this shit storm, MCRacing has only posted twice? He has only replied to one post.

Whoever is responsible for the thread is sitting back and laughing at all the attention this thread has gotten. MCR couldn't have gotten this kind of mileage anywhere else for this price.

Amazing. Dry
