Along side Ralph and Jeff? I think MC been the best guy, and I like both RC and KW, but if you put a gun to my head I have to say MC. We have had enough time with all of them in the booth to form an opinion, no?

I hate to say it but I can't stand RC in the booth. I know he's the goat and all but his grammar is atrocious and actually bothers me...and that's coming from a native Arkansan, hahaha

KW is a natural.

I don't mind RC, but he's not as polished as Kevin and I kinda think his banter with Fro comes off bad sometimes... sometimes not but occasionally it's inside jokes and Fro get's mind pump and Ralph is left sitting there going wtf...

I did. I knew his story already but I guess after watching behind the dream I was looking for it. Seemed like a stutter a non stuttering person would do while trying to initiate conversation on a event that was ongoing though. I couldn't do it,watch,react and commentate at light speed. Dude is on the ball for sure.

I would have go with RC... Apart from when he goes quite anytime a Hill or Tickle is on screen.

Must make a note of how much i miss Bailey commentating... Easily the greatest imho.

I think Emig gets flustered because he'll start saying something then Ralph just starts babbling over him. If you watch his face, he looks like he could unload on Ralph but just keeps his cool.

And for all of you who say MC is the best, I'm very confused. He seems very uncomfortable in there and I haven't really heard anything that has stood out in my head that gave me any information that I didn't already know. I'd rank them in this order:

Emig
Windham/Reed (both equally great in their own way)
RC - gives some good perspective even though his grammar is terrible
MC
Anyone in the stands

I think Emig is best of all times. Its extremely challenging to be an analyst and commentator at a live event. I think Larry Huffman was the best of the 1980s and db of the 1990s. Most of the events in '80s and 90's were taped.

The best with Fro, MC by far. After MC, KW and then RC.

Not a fan of K-fade, RC or MC in the booth.... but, one of them might progress like Fro did and turn out excellent, who knows.

Btw, I am get'n frick'n sick and tired of RC's team getting all the constant love while there are more deserving riders/teams out there. Don't know why the tv team is swing'n so hard off RC's nuts...

I inderstand the Lil professor may not have merit with this now generation, but what about TP? does he not fit in the budget?

Despite the fact that you are from Arkansas (good one-love me some self depreciating humor), I have to agree with you about RC even though his observations about the racing is still pretty good. After a nervous start, I thought MC settled in pretty good, kind of like 1993......

I would say RC not very smooth, but when it comes to breaking down an issue or explaining an incident, he seems clairvoyant, almost like he saw it coming.

But if I had to listen to 3 hours of coverage and the blather that goes with it, I say KW is the most interesting and personal.

Well,at a arca race a 17 yr old hits the wall when the oil tank ruptures on the car in front.

Fuckwad Ralph makes fun of the kids dad,and the kid hitting the wall and redflagging the race.

The kid was dead,died,this fuckhead muther fucker made fun of it.

Sure,he didn't know he was dead but it was a vicious lick,one you dont get out of.

Way before safe walls.
