LOL I have spent money on lots of stuff like that, I have spent so much money on carbon fiber stuff that does no more than look really cool, I have several thousand tied up in switchblade knives for no other reason than I like them. I fixed that shin racking problem. Bought one of these B&W's. Rated for 10,000lbs, but I've pulled my 9,800lb Cat 304CR (mini excavator) on a 2,000lb trailer behind my Dodge several times with no issue. 1 7/8", 2", and 2 5/16", fold it underneath when not in use. Best hitch I ever had. No more bruised shins.

First off.....I know of no one who has a tenit but know of several people with tenants....that is not as easy as it looks. First off....2"x3/16" tick tube isn't cheap, plasma or water jet the background plate, then the same with the design plate. Drill and countersink the design plate and drill and tap the background plate before going to get powder coated and then shipped. Yea....$45 is way too much lol....I did this stuff for a living. My shop rate was $120/hr and even with free material and pre programmed shapes there is more than 1 hour labor involved. Realistically if I made these in bulk of 100 or so I bet including desgin time, consumables, part fabrication, powder coating etc to a final product would definitely have 20 min each in fabrication time. Most shops are cheaper .....say around $75-100/hr but even then ......without any margin you are still looking at $30 bare minimum in costs.....
