RV is riding more conservatively than I've ever seen him ride...and Dungey is riding more aggressively than ever. Interesting. I'm going out on a limb & say that unless Stewart goes into a"24-0" mode...I see Ryan Dungey the points leader going into Vegas, a few scant points over RV.
Dude, that shit is going to rotten your teeth out! Do you really think RD would have won this race had RV,KR,JS had not gotten a bad start? Hell no! No chance in hell, he is going to have the points lead going into Vegas! The guy took 8 laps to get around Alessi! Tried for 20 laps in Dallas to get around JS.

I say wait until after this Saturday to say its over. Daytona is one of his best tracks but this race always has a chance to change things up. He podiums this week I agree he gets #1 plate at MetLife Stadium

A Honda rider wont win it

RV2 still needs to get through the heat races and the 160 main event laps without incident and I'm sure the fickle finger of fate is not going to make it easy.

This championship is not over.....

i watched San Diego live and Stewart was just so good, no one could do what he did that night, thats the only race i have seen live, so until next year, he is the best in my eyes. no matter who wins.

@Juss- I think it was 4-5 laps to get around Alessi, but everything else you said is true.

@Davistld01- are you serious or just fooling around? Even if RV dnf's and Dungey wins next weekend in Daytona, RV will still go into Vegas with the points lead. The only way Dungey beats RV for a Championship series, is if RV doesn't complete the series. THe only Championships Dungey has won are when RV doesn't finish/even start a championship (like outdoors 2012.)

Not sure if you're serious, but the best guy is the guy who's the Champion, and that's RV. Just because you only watched ONE race and Stewart looked good that ONE race, doesn't make him the best. "No matter who wins." The point is winning and RV has been winning Championships so he's the best in my eyes.

Normally I would not say this , he doesn't have it in the bag, but I would have to say that RV1 is now refocused and
I think the party is over. Not about fate, but about who is the best rider of this time. Circumstances can change anything in SX,
but I wouldn't bet against the 3 time champion at this point. Go RV1Woohoo

IMO you're crazy to think that!!! KR94 has Dungey beat no matter what with out a crash. Same for JS7. Dungey is the 4th place guy from here on out with no first turn pile ups or crashes. Honestly it took RV,KR, and JS crashing and it just so happened to be the night Dungey won. I actually like Dungey he is a super good dude and extremely fast, and although he upped his aggression this year its still not enough. Just my Opinion not trying to start a WAR.

You must have been born stupid.... how long did it RV last week to get Alessi... 5 laps.... Do not remember RD needing more than 4 to get around em.

If you only watch the points column, you sure miss out on a lot that this sport has to offer.

The "4th place guy" has scored more points in that last 4 races than anyone else in that stretch.
