First off I will say I like Josh Hill....He has take a licken and keeps on ticken, so good for him....But, at Indy it seemed to me like during his heat race and the main he was kind out of control. I have not re-watched the race yet, so maybe it was just one of those things..... Seemed like he was trying to catch Stewart in the main, but couldnt and was riding really squirrelly to do so.... Was Hill the guy Stewarts bike was trying to eat in the start.....?

It was you. He didn't look any more or less out of control than anyone else I saw out there. That course was nasty.

Not to mention he looked faster and more aggressive than he has all season. If he's gonna put together a podium ride this season it'd be within the next few weeks here, me thinks.

I agree with 381. I thought he looked like the hill of old. When he is on it his style is ridiculous. He looked better than he has all season to me!

Ok...so maybe it was me...Indeed!! I thought for sure he was going to be on the podium already, in fact I think I picked him to make a podium at A1 or PHX, but he was off and then the collarbone...... Maybe overlee (is that a word) agressive for a track that you had to play it safe on... He was in attack mode for sure and thats what I noticed....but it didnt seem to be working for him....

RCH guys seem to be finding some extra speed lately. Tickle has been progressing nicely also. Contract year for both guys I think right?

Yarp! I thought Hill looked good/aggressive after a horrible start. He was on Stewarts tail for some of the broadcast which is almost never a bad thing.

GuyB, when you say the track was nasty, that doesn't necessarily mean bad, does it? I think the track broke down, but to me that brings on different challenges, and I liked seeing things mixed up that way. Not so much cookie cutter and choreographed.

I didn't say it was bad, but then again, I don't have to ride it.

Let's just say it was more challenging than usual. Wink

Thanks for the quick response. Nasty can have a lot of connotations. I was wondering what your opinion was since you were there in person. It sure looked a different form of challenging, which is nice to see.

not to mention his boot was jacked up.
Yep. I'd heard that he'd blown out three in the crash, and spent some time trying to rebuckle.

Probably not the most comforting feeling with all his ankle/foot injuries in the past. (Assuming that is the same leg)

Hell of a ride by Josh, stayed right with Stewart the majority of the race. Doesn't show on paper, but he's getting better and better each week.

I'm trying to remember, does Josh have an sx only contract again or is he signed up to do mx also this year?

Last I heard he was contracted for Nationals as well.

Correct, but he needs to really step it up if he hopes to be resigned at the end of the outdoors.

@Redrum66- the word you are looking for is "overly"

Always a JH75 fan! Crazy he is on a bike after his crash at Nate Adams place. Can't imagine trying to ride threw compartment syndrome.

josh hill is incredibly smooth, one can only imagine how quick he would be if he loosened up a bit and rode a bit looser like the likes of villo or barcia
