Section 135 row 20! Also, pit party in the Orange parking lot near the sidewalk. Have it there every year right next to the Dome so only a short walk accross the street to get in.

GuyB, just out of curiosity, what's your streak for most races attended consecutively? Maybe it's still going, I don't know. By the way, sorry for bugging you while you were working in dallas (I was the guy in the stands by the first straight away after the first turn), but I just wanted to say hi and shake your hand. I appreciate all the work you put in to both the photography and the forum. Makes it enjoyable for all of us.

Well be there!! Probably around 9-10am. We live up in Kennesaw. Last year was my wife's 1st time going. She's been excited to go back every since. We went at noon last year & that was to late, so she's cool with going as early as I want this year. We made the mistake of meeting up with my cousin & his wife last year & they wanted to watch practice ALLDAY without even mingling around the pit party. Kinda bummed us out, especially my wife. She wants to be able to see all the guys that we watch every weekend race. Were gonna hit up mountain Motorsports since I'm 5min from it for autograph day with team Kawi & KTM. Were stoked about that!!! Anybody else going there Friday before?

They use a holigram sticker on your ticket to get into the pit at 8am,or they did.

I get out after 12 cant handle all the posers with untucked jerseys.

Eat at parts then track walk around 5 just for fun.

Check back late friday for the secret knock

If i tell now a certain shutdown of plan "banjo porch picker" will happen

No worries. It was nice to meet you. Smile

I missed a couple of Dallas races back when the Indy trade show was still going strong. So the current unbroken string is probably right at three years or so.

wow, now that's a pretty impressive streak. I remember seeing a picture of your mountain bike you take with you. Stumbled upon any hidden gems of trails in all of your travels?

My work just happens to have something going on at the convention center the same weekend as the race. Of course the convention center is directly beside the dome. So yeah I am thinking of stopping by.
Pits are in one of the massive rooms of that convention center.

If I hadn't missed those couple Dallas races, the streak would be more like seven years. Smile

Yeah, I've found a few spots. I didn't ride at all in Utah last year, but I've done some good stuff near Moab in the past. I also did a cool ride in Draper City with Matt Jory from Proven Moto.

In New Mexico? There's some awesome stuff by Albuquerque.

Near Budds Creek? Rosaryville State Park is fun.

Near Hangtown? I've ridden near Folsom Lake and up in the Sierra foothills with the guys from Works Connection.

Near Lakewood? There's fun stuff near Red Rocks. I'll try and explore more there next year.

There's often a group that will ride on Fridays before the Nationals.

Looks like he announced he's done for the SX season, so I doubt he spends the money to make the trip. My wife is super bummed (I am, too, but not as much)

We'll be there, as usual.

Elbows, tickets left in the mail Saturday. If you don't have them by Tuesday let me know.

Wish that I could make it Hillbilly, but I'll be watching from home this year. I've still got a photo that I took when we kicked it at that Atlanta SX on year! If something changes and I decide to go I'll let you know.

Ah yes I used those special tickets allot years ago when I was on my own going to races but it pushes friendships a bit thin asking for 4 so my wife and friends can get in too haha. We'll be happy going in when the pits open at 12.

The pits in ATL are one huge clusterf*ck. Go early, or don't go at all. Unless you enjoy being in a sea of humanity.
