So, uh, who's that in 5th, again?

I wish he can get a lil' better in the qualifications; a holeshot in a heat could end up into a podium in the main !

Same thing I was thinking after bad luck in his first heat, and then the semi, I was like uh-oh, hope he makes it in via the LCQ, and then to finish there in the main. He has to be stoked for sure.

I picked him and Hill for fantasy and could not be happier. Great ride by both.

Dude is a BEAST! We were screaming all night as he caught and passed the RCH riders, reeled in Shorty and went by, then COULD NOT BELIEVE how he caught eli and bam bam, then went past both of them. His pits were insane after the main!

I picked Amanda Kerr for my fantasy. In my fantasy she also had a great ride. Sounds like we both had happy endings

WP is a badass. Been said a zillion times...but will somebody put the guy on a factory team for 2015? He has more heart & drive than a lot of factory hotshots now!

Some quotes from Weston and Eli over on the Pro-Circuit Postrace Pulpcast

Weston...

"...Yeah I saw where Barcia and Tomac were making their mistakes and tried to capitalize on that, and just made my passes clean..."

Eli

"...and then before you know it, Weston Peick blows by both of us...hes a big Ox...hes a Viking...yeah he was riding good, hes a legit dude now."

I really dig WP40, man is a badass!! Very happy for him. I hope he can stay consistent and be a top 10 guy the rest of the way. He's got the speed, that's for sure. Just hope he keeps it on 2 wheels charging that hard (because if he doesn't, the dirt is going to regret it).

Basically said he gets overlooked because he doesn't have a winning history. Guys like weimer, tickle, and grant get rides because they have had successful 250 careers and show flashes of brilliance on the 450 even. I agree with albrecht that that is what happens but I don't agree with the logic and as time goes on, it seems like peick has a chance of getting on the podium for sure and maybe even knockin off a win if the cards are right.

Someone said they're not a WP fan. Not sure what there is to not be a fan about.
LOL...Makes sense, guys like Stanton, Bailey and Reed never did much either when they moved to the premier class after forgettable tiddler seasons.

Weston Peick has never raced in the 250 class as a AMA pro. When he turned pro he went straight to the 450 class.

I was happy to see him with another top five but the thing that gets me is when you look down the finishing order and see some of the names behind him.Smile
Now that reed is gone for a bit he will be even closer to that podium.Woohoo

And further to that, he's moving forward during the race regardless of what's going on! Keep doing what you are doing Mr. Peick... Just like I was telling my nephew yesterday, "have fun". The little fugger rode great.

I mean obviously he doesnt have the consistancy of a Grant or Hansen to garner factory rides and support year in and year out.

Just think if he hadnt had that nasty crash in Phoenix and the one race he didnt qualify for he would be 5th in points right now.

Atmosphere inside the Honda semi must be a little tense with both factory riders Barcia & Tomac getting beaten again by a privateer!
Way to go Weston, keep up the great work and results!

He had the MOST laps of anyone on that track. Testament to his conditioning. Plus he's using MINDFX!!!
