I look at it as saying your a nervous wreck right now and I am going to toy with you. Chad could have punted him to the moon. Instead he gives him a love tap. I also find it ironic that Chisholm was Stewarts teammate, and now chooses to ride with chad instead. You can't tell me they have never spoke of what truly happened. Chad is a smart guy, he will always have the upper hand mentally on James. One last thing, I hope James gets his first win of the year tonight. Would make things more interesting!

A lot of people dog Stewart out for wrecking people. I always remember this race when thinking of chad cause it shows his true self when things are on the line, and how low he will stoop to try and win a race. I don't think it gets much dirtier when racing.
kinda like vegas 2011 when he parked RV? oh wait...wait...that was a clean pass. no class.

You must never have been in a position to win anything... When the chips are down you've gotta do what you've gotta do. If the situation is flipped I guarantee you James does the same. Anybody on the gate would have, for that matter. It's a championship.

Only, he didn't WIN! The title or the race(RV did).

How many points separated them at the last round? If Reed would have passed James and gone after RV could he have had the title?

Even so, every now and again a title fight or race between "rivals" gets kinda silly, Ex: Larry Ward VS. The Chicken(1990 Seattle SX), Alessi standing on Tedesco's bike! It looks very non PROfessional, hehe.

EDIT: Getting a seventh at Seattle that year likely lost it for him.

Maybe the POS comment was a little harsh but it was still a shady move. If you watch the whole race, James does try to let Reed go but he refuses so he could try and take him out later. I understand if he is going for win and all that, but he wasn't going for the win. He was slowing up so he could take stewy out on the back side of track. I understand they all have done shady moves but that was super shady.

You can resort to attacking my age all you want, it does not bother me, nor am I 14 years of age. You kinda act like I called you guys a POS. Sorry.

Reed was controlling the race the whole time. Knowing he had one chance to win the title here. And that chance would only happen if Stewy finished further back than 3rd (I think it was actually behind 5th). . So Chad wanted to wait until the last minute and see if 1 Stewy would take himself out from CR's pressure, or 2 CR could run him wide and force a mistake that would put Stewy further back. These were the only two options for CR to win the title this year. He know it and James knew it. How many times had Chad lost a title by so little points? In 09 He was gonna do everything he could to try and win. Right down to the last few laps.

Another option could have been to have chads mechanic throw a stick in stewys front spokes that way he could of had a DNF. Lol. That would have been alright I guess.

Now, we all know, in hindsight they could have just pushed Guy B onto the track, and Stewart would have crashed by himself!

Um? No... That would not have been ok. But Chad did what JS woulda done, or RC woulda done and it is between them. If you wanna hate CR there are so many better reasons?
