as most of you have probably read online that alessi got hurt today which sucks as he only just got back from his ugly crash at redbud! it was a pretty bad crash but could of been really bad he got off better than it could of been! i started jumping this quad in a combo section and he tried it(i told him not to try it!) and he came up short and went flying off the berm and landed on his feet braking his lower tib fib! its a real bummer and i hope he makes a speedy recovery!
i have three more days of sx testing than its off to england for mxdn so with little to no time riding outdoor the pressures on cause im over hearing from my good friend craig dack that he still holds the record from 1986 of a team best 4th overall lol!! metty burner and i will put it on the BOX than im going to sign him a jersey!! lolSmile
ill try keep you guys updated as to how its all going

Sucks big time. Dude has the most heart of all the riders out there right now.

Recovery period should be about 8 weeks with hardware, then rehab, so prob around 10-12 weeks.
No hardware, prob 12 weeks, then rehab.
I had a pretty bad tib/fib spiral fracture and they couldn't get a rod or screw in, so I was in a cast for 12 weeks up to the boys.
The following year, I shattered the base of my tibia and I was only on crutches for 8 weeks because they were able to put in plates and screws to hold it together.
I bet he either doesn't miss any SX's or at most 1-2.

We prolly never know cuz Reed is to much of a puss (IMO) to race MX. I would put my money on Alessi if they ever do.

Impossible to argue about. No one knows if RC could have stepped up to beat him. RC doesnt like losing, we all know that, but he bent over and took it those 6 races. Could he have stepped it up, maybe.
And about the championship part of it, CR never said he enjoyed beating RC in a championship, he said battleing him. Id consider beating someone 6 races in a row battleing with them. theyve had there race battles, anyone arguing that point clearly is blinded by dislike.

I dont care for either rider, but Reed would smoke Alessi, and probably knew he would wad up doing that quad. So... sounds like he was right. Now, he gets to watch from the sidelines... again.
