He started the day off still pretty sore from last week...that fall at Phoenix took its toll and he didn't ride all week.

He's still surprising the hell outta me. I wasn't expecting him to be able to run the entire 20 laps & up his best lap on lap 13. Damn. I'm sooooo stoke for him and his team.

Congratulations to Team Peick!

(13th in the points just a week after crashing out of The PHX Main and getting just 1 point!)

Man, I wish I was independently very wealthy. I'd be sponsoring that team. Weston has it in him to top 5 for sure. With a good start who knows what he could do. That fella is impressing the heck out of me. A week after a crash that would have killed most of us... he finishes this well. Nice work Weston. Keep digging, and I will keep wearing my WP-40 shirt every supercross.

Weston's ability to do the Timex (takes a licking and keeps on ticking) rivals Brian Swink's and Michael Craig's ability to wad it up but come back.

One SX race Swink (think it was Houston circa 95) split his helmet in the semi, qualified in the LCQ and raced the main. Mt Morris circa 96 Stingray pogo'd his HoT CR125 in practice but still raced. This was the day he won the first moto but Scott Sheak won the second moto and the O/A.

Bercy 97 Michael Craig was a crash test dummy in a violent crash in Friday's practice on his HoT CR250 but shook it off and raced. Amazing what these guys can endure.

Yep great result, did not even notice until well after the race but so awesome to see.

To bad he was not a little closer to capitilise on the Ryan last corner debacle.

I cannot believe he finished that well after that gnarly crash last week. The guy is an animal! Just imagine how much better he'll do once he's not so bruised up and sore! Stoked for Weston and his crew

Awesome ride for Weston, I think he beat 6 guys on factory bikes!

Unless he hurts himself badly this year, I cannot see him not landing a spot in a factory supported semi in 2015. A huge part of him not getting one of the coveted rides was that so many riders were under contract for 2014. Big changes on the merry go round for next year.
