All the factory supported KTM riders could pick old school. ..or real old school when it comes to their rear suspension preference. That tells me that KTM has no reliability issues when it comes spring vs air.

I would take me a set of Boge or Koni shocks myself.

I'm suspecting we'll see a 250SXF-FE w/ an Air-Shock (to make it legal in the 250 class)...340 & 450, too. They seem to have it REALLY figured out.

Btw, Bobby, I'd run the new stuff like Andrew does...

So..."Air".

I'm done questioning KTM and their R&D. This stuff works!

Now, bring on the '15 Husky.

What's the deal with the air shock, are they even available to the public? If so how much do they charge for them? If not why are they allowed to run them?

Currently no, that's why they are running it in the 450 class, if they want to run it in the 250 class it has to be available to the public and meet a certain price limit (which has changed recentely so I don't remember the amount for the shock and forks.) Before anyone whoops and hollas about ktm running it on the 450, every major team runs unique/unavailable stuff in the big boy class. Honda, Kawi, Suzuki, ect....

^^^ exactly, and that is what TG meant about a 250 sxf-fe, if they sell it, they can use it in the 250 class also. I believe the new 250 price limit is 8k with clamps.
