Lots of rounds of ammo will be burned followed by a party of epic proportions friday, and a race on Saturday 140 VIP's sharing 10 private boxes.

Just heard you on pulpmx you are getting weirder and weirder. Have to mute everytime you call in.

It sure did rain yellow in the heat (and main) with barcia catching/passing/pulling James.

But it will rain green more because RV is still the best nothing has changed.

I want to see all the top guys get a start together out front. All the big hitters impressed at some stage at A1. RV, Stew and Barcia all feel they could have won the opener I think.

Reed gets a midpack start and, one-by-one hunts down and passes every rider for the victory.

The first couple rounds usually don't mean a lot in the grand scheme of things. Id say there is a good chance for another surprise winner while everyone is still going crazy balls. I think I picked Barcia or Kenny to win round one and its based on that same logic (and taking RV to wrap up early again). The season is a lot of wait and see until you get a few rounds in. Soooooooooooooooooo how about Barcia for the win?

RV2 or Roczen or Barcia or Dungey or Stewart (what's the status on Tomac?)

one of those 5 will win.

This is all I'd feel comfortable putting money on anyway.

As for the 250, it's not really a prediction, but I would love to see Malcolm on top of the box. It's hard not to root for that guy.

My predictions...

450
1. Villopoto
2. Barcia
3. Roczen

250
1. Seely
2. Wilson
3. M. Stewart

If everyone stays relatively healthy, think it's going to be a hairball season w/ a lot of different winners on the box week in and week out. Consistency is going to win SX titles this year. Stay in the top 5 week in and week out and they might have a chance. Just my two cents.

Cant predict anything these days, that is for sure....A1 showed us that there are quite a few guys capable of winning, which we already knew..A1 was a " being in the right place at the right time" race in my eyes....Stewart and RV probably would have been 1-2 with Roczen 3rd had they not fallen, but they did....no telling whats in store at PHX on saturday and that great...Hope JS7 stays up and rebouds in effort to get back in this thing...... PHX is always a different vibe too.....little less tension since the build up to A1 has come and gone...Riders usually seem a little more relaxed as like Reed said, a lot of dudes were riding " tight" ...RV said he was ....Dungey hinted at it and Roczen was too....so bring on PHX and bring on some good racing.

How do you lump Moss in with Barcia and Roczen? I know he's your boy and all but the thread is about Phoenix predictions. Not Phoenix dreams/wishes.

Not another one. Chad Reed on the podium? Maybe. Matt Moss lucky if he's in the top 10. That's just reality. I'm a huge Will Hahn fan, but I don't go around predicting he's gonna win.

And all you guys saying RV's gonna wad it up, what's up with that. He had a minor spill last week and still got fourth. He's ahead of where he was last year. It's not looking good for the rest of the field.

As for Tomac's condition-On instagram he posted a picture of him mountain biking and he sounded pretty optimistic about racing this weekend.

by in the mix you mean top 10-20? Why is he racing the west rounds on a 350? I thought he was brought in as Savatgy's replacement. Did they have Savatgy lined up to race these same rounds on the 350 then do the East coast rounds on his 250? If so does that mean Jason Anderson will race some East Coast rounds on a big bike?

listen idiot, you said that all last week, i can't get to the USA so vital mx is my way of finding things out and enjoying there racing and both my boys have raced AMA and ran places, Jake was 18yrs old and finished 4th in his first ever AMA sx and in 2009 ran 2nd in two 450 outdoor moto's. Matt only did one championship with the J Star Team and he was the only J Star rider to ever podium and there highest champioship position, guys like Malcom Stewart and PJ Larson and others spent years on that team and never got a podium. Guess what? I am allowed to believe. As for my other picks Barcia, Roczen and Seely. Well they weren't Villo,Stewart and Wilson.

Someone will win and the rest won't.

I'm going with

1. RV

2. Dungey

3. Barcia

In the 450s it's hard to go past Stewart. He looks really fit and was unlucky last weekend. Podium impossible to pick - so many contenders! I was impressed with Brayton's speed too. If RV gets a start similar to what Barcia had at A1, I can't see him doing much better than 5th also. I'll say Stewart, Barcia, Reed. Mossy top 10.

250s....Malcolm Stewart. He looks much lighter and rode well at A1 and had some bad luck too. Stewart, Osborne, Wilson.

lol. Relax Old mate. You are free to believe whatever you want. Keep believing that Moss is gonna win races and podium and run with Barcia and Roczen and beat RV, and Stewart. I just thought we were going with actual predictions, like things that have a chance of actually happening. Maybe I was wrong? I like Jimmy Albertson a lot too so you know what, since I like him a lot. I now think that Jimmy, not RV is gonna win Phoenix!
