It took me looking at this a second time to realize what it was that made it so exceptional as a vintage throwback haha I knew there was something setting it apart from the rest.

Love the look of the boots, I imagine there would be added protection if the shields cleared smoothly.
Not a fan of the squared side panels, but would it not be cool to see the Golden Boy scream the guts out of this one at next year's Vet MXGP?

Yeah the fork boots, simulated vents on the number plate and "mono-x" decals on the swingarm go great with the 1982 replica graphics/color scheme.

Tha's nice. Is that an '05? I feel like my '09, which was the exact same as the '06, didn't have such aggressive angles on the radiator shrouds. I like the look of this, just wondering.

This was my uncle's, the kook sold it not too long ago for dirt cheap! Ask the guy about it and I think he'll readily admit that he regrets it haha Oh well I'm sure we all have a bike we sold that we wish we could get back.

ge217 was the picture that was already posted of your bike before you put the graphics on? If so, that was me that posted it, and everyone wants to know how you did it!

It's an 05. You can tell by the gold high speed adjuster on the shock and the old style fork guard mount arrangement.

Call this page "kick ass YZ125s"...with one ass-kicked KX250F conversion. Although both steel and aluminum converts were/are worthy of making this epic thread!
Someone with more time than me should wade throguh this thread and count up models, I'd bet Yamaha with their venrable little pea shooter would smoke the count.
