I remember hearing someone in a podcast (maybe DV) say that the first day he rode the Yamaha track he couldn't go through the whoops and couldn't even jump the triples. Everyone was scratching their head wondering wha he was doing there. To me, that's a sign of his heart and determination because he went from that to a champion. That's why I'll never be surprised by anything he accomplishes no matter how great.
