That dinger is probably why it was at the dealer in the first place..... if they didnt point it out to you, they should have...but I guess I can see why they didnt - I would have passed... Maybe they'll fix it ....Also, i'm going to go with leaking clutch gasket as well

Dude I think you're high. You need to take that back, and if they won't do anything you need to go to the better business bureau. You can't sell equipment with a faulty frame, you want to get killed???

Understandable, lesson learned: You go to that dealer with a damn magnifying glass and look over every square inch of it.

They better pay you back, or give you credit towards another bike no questions. I would go for money back. That's bullshit an excited consumer is getting boned. Hope this works out for you man!

I don't think the dealer will do much for you. When you buy used you typically buy as is. They should work with you on parts/labor and cut you a deal, but I doubt they just say sorry and fix it for free. Did you not look the bike over before you bought it? Start it, let it run and look the engine over up and down for leaks/cracks?

If the dealer was truly unaware of the damage to the frame, how's he to know that you didn't cause that damage when you rode it.

When you buy a bike used it's universally understood that you are buying it "as is". Unfortunately you should have gone over the bike better before the sale took place.

how did you not see that when you looked it over before buying it? holy smokes had a buddy with one like that his insurance company totaled it.

I know its after the fact now but when buying a used Mx bike ALWAYS take the bike off the stand and lean the bike over (rest the handlebar on the bike stand) and look closely at the bottom tubes and where the rear linkage is attached to the main frame.

It sure looks to me like a competent welder/fabricator could repair the damage. That might be the cheapest and easiest way to go.

I would confront the dealership. Thats bogus. Other than that bike looks good.
