Stupidity is a capital offense...
Karma is a bitch...
How does karma fit in here?
I have....
Motocrossers in general are against it but it does happen.
Afterall, who wants to drive 3 hours to a race and are not even sure that the bike will run?
All this video shows is someone on a KTM, maybe without a helmet, was killed.
You've had your share of "judgemental" post on Vital, so don't go getting "rightous" now! LOL! (mispelling on purpous for the spelling policemenz on here...)
Pit Row
From the local paper:
CHESTER – A city man was killed when the dirt bike he was riding collided with a car at 5th and Parker streets late Monday afternoon.
The biker, described to be in his 50s who resided in the area of West Fifth Street, was pronounced dead at the scene, authorities said. A woman driving the second vehicle was hospitalized with an apparent broken jaw. There was no word on her condition at press time.
The incident occurred at about 4 p.m.
There are all kinds of stories from the 70's, of factory mechanics putting bikes back together in hotel rooms and then running them through the parking lot at midnight to make sure they were running.
I have received parts late on a Friday and having to work on Saturday, not get the chance to work on the bike until late on a Saturday. So, I will admit to running it up and down the road, late at night (although, always with a helmet) before putting it in the van.
I guess it's a safe assumption but we all know where that can lead...
