My tardy thoughts on the MEC.

Split start would be cool, IF IT WORKED CONSISTENTLY!
I personally cannot imagine forgetting to do the joker lane. I would have been mentally plotting my strategy for using it for weeks leading up to the race.
I strongly believe that RV meant to hit the joker lane on that last lap, but he was carrying too much speed due to trying to pass Stewart. After all, that one pass could have potentially been worth $900,000.
I really like the joker lane at the MEC, as I think helps to make this race different, and sets it apart from the supercross series.
Did missing the joker lane contribute to RV's crash? Dunno, but that kind of money would definitely mess with MY mind.
I look forward to next year, and I hope someone has the foresight to at least invite the 250 and 450 Euro champs. I doubt that they would come over, but the invitation alone would be classy.

I think we can put a fork in the idea that the Joker Lane contributed to RV's crash. Both him and Aldon confirmed that RV thought he had one more lap left.

Whatever. RV screwed up cause he forgot. When I was younger I use to make shit up if I screwed up. Now that I'm older, I screw up more but never shift blame...............so much happier. He will learn eventually
