This was such a great track on MCM2!
I'm with these guys.

I remember being pretty stoked to see real photos of the track for the first time. It was a MCM2 classic.

I was lucky enough to go out first in practice one day when the Monster was tilled perfect like that, it was like riding on a track made in heaven. I don't think you could find someone as honest or as hard working as Tom to run a track.

This was about a year ago there. I love this track and I wish I could get back there more often. Tom really knows how to put on a great race.

I remember riding this track when the dirt was frozen. The blades wouldn't even cut the dirt but then neither did my rear wheel! It was still a blast and was great after the dirt thawed.

Great track and great people. We usually go there between Christmas and New Years getting ready for the moto season up north. We have never been disapointed while riding at MM.

Keep up the good work Tom.

Made the 8.5 hour trip to Monster twice last winter. The tracks are simply the best I have ever ridden. The flow, jumps, sections, dirt, and people are world class. The prep looked dead on the pictures Tom has posted everyday we were there. My favorite part was sitting at one of the high elevation points on the track and overlooking the entire facility, this was a breathtaking view. The vintage track is an experience of its own. Deep loamy sand, wide open on a 450, absolute blast.

Not going to comment much about Monster hosting a national other than the pros and fans are missing out on this experience.

Keep up the excellent work, Tom. Hope to be back this winter.

Thanks petie11o5 - for the kinds words and for making the haul to Monster from Cincinnati!

The winter is our favorite time of year (which sounds crazy 'cause we're open 7 days-a-week for over 3 months) because we get to interact with so many riders from all over.

Last winter we had riders from just about every state, Canada, all over Latin America, and even Belgium , the Netherlands and Estonia. Getting to meet so many cool people and their families is the best part of this track ownership deal.

Whether you're from Tallassee, Tallahassee, or Toronto, thanks for riding with us!

If anyone's headed to Mini-Os and wants a good warm-up we're bringing back an old favorite - The Top Kids Showcase, and trying something new, The Monster Vet Challenge on November 8th, 9th, and 10th. You can go to www.monstermx.com or call me for details. Tom: 334-318-8475.

Between the $3,800 Vet purse and Saturday's awards and Sunday's trophies, we'll be handing out over $8,200 in cash and prizes. Not to mention the joy of racing "the Monster."

I personally queried Coombs on this place at a National in 2012, and his answer was "parking & bathrooms".
Lack of bathrooms can't be a valid reason, go look at Redbud they have zero, nada, zilch fixed bathrooms....just a lot of port-o-jons.

My family ventured south from Central Illinois to MM last December to ride at the Monster for several days. The track was incredible but on top of the incredible track are Tom and his family and staff who run the place. If we needed anything, it was done. Someone tied a dog to a water spigot in the camping sites and of course it broke meaning no one had water. Tom and his son worked into the night to fix it to ensure we had water. On our last day riding, my son had a pretty major crash which took a large chunk of flesh from his arm. Tom and his team were there, got him to our camper, bandaged him and helped us get on our way to the hospital. He came by later to check on him as well. I guess my point is if anyone is worried whether or not MM could host a national or whatever, if they put their focus into it, I have no doubts it will happen. But until that time, our family believes MM is a pretty special place and even though we are lucky to have Sunset Ridge MX as our home track, MM will always be that place we want to get back to. It is an MX mecca National or not. Hope to see you in December Tom!!!!
