Two Two, will there be a 250 rider

Edited Date/Time 10/7/2013 10:31am
Seems Reed's team will be racing pro-circuit bikes. Will that open the door for Two Two's to have a team rider on a 250?

Why not? Didnt Trey Canard win his outdoor title with Geico with a PC engine before Geico went "In-house"?

I still think Blake Wharton would be great at Two-Two on a 250f. The guy won races last year for christs sake and he doesnt have a ride for 2014?

I don't know, but it makes more sense to have another 450 rider if another rider at all... oh god, I'm speculating about Reed... Pinch Laughing

One rider who could be a major contender in his team is Dean Ferris, fellow Aussie and showed how damn fast he was at MXoDN .. not sure of his SX speed though...anyone know?

If Reed actually is running Kawi, I doubt there will be another 250 Monster/Kawi/PC under the Two Two tent... I'd be interested to see if Monster puts up the cash for a second rider, but tells him it has to be Hanny like they did with Mitch a few years ago.

I think Blake is too "eccentric" for Chad. He's fast...but different.

Then you could argue that reed is hiring a rider to directly compete with him on the track. Either way, hiring a second rider under the pro circuit route has it's hitches. Having said that, I think it would be more likely that he would hire a 450 rider. But as to what reed is thinking, it's anyone's guess. . .

Don't think he'd be intrested in a top 450 guy this season since he'll be on one. Ferris would be an awesome addition for a 250 rider though. I kinda have a feeling he'll be getting a guy from the GPs & an Aussie for him would just be icing on the cake!

If Reeds success as an INDEPENDENT team is based solely on sponsership $$$ then why not sign a rider that the sponsers love? Wharton! Don't they eat this guys shit up? Hair, laid back persona, good with fans. And...and, he isn't competing with Reed out on the track but rather complementing him as a teammate in the other class.

Wheres that Dave O. guy? Probably down in Texas learning how to play a guitar!

I heard he will be on the new KTM direct injected 3 stroke. It has the horsepower of a 2 stroke and the smooth delivery of a 4 stroke, all in one. Stamp that!!!

He will also be wearing Seven gear.
