With Reed passing does he now become RCHs best shot at winning? I can't think of anyone else out there that doesn't have a chair.

X2, I agree, I think he will be good but I doubt we see him running down RV, let alone anyone else in the top 5 as of right now. But who knows, off seasons do wonders.

If RCH found the $ to go after Chad...maybe they still take a stab at other available riders...? (If the Value/Performance "ratio" is there). I'm still not giving up on the idea of Weston riding for them...just seems too damn "Perfect"!

Everyone talks about these riders as if "Nothing Ever Changes"; but, here's the thing...Weston has proven that things DO change.

Again, Things DO change. No-one seems to realize that we are looking at a faster, healthier & more motivated Josh Hill. Being around him at X-Games & talking to him at Elsinore in a very relaxed atmosphere (where his analysis of some of the racing was eye-opening)...it was clear to me: Focused, Determined...and...a very "New" Confidence that is even stronger than when he was on his Factory Yamaha. He is sooooo Stoked to be going to Oz! Also, I think it's lost on People that Josh has a "New Mind-Set": he wasn't even sure he'd be able to EVER WALK normal as of the first Monster Cup in 2011.

The Field has gotten SO MUCH FASTER over these last 2 years & that, in itself, is A LOT OF CHANGE.

Next-Year will have PLENTY of Surprises. Heck, I'm still thinking guys like Weimer & Tickle could have a Break-Out Season...or 2. Change, Confidence, "Discovery", Health (think Baggett, Wilson, Milsaps, Anderson, Villopoto, Leib...etc. ALL going under the knife &/or Healing Aggravated/Long-Standing Injuries-Wilson/Milsaps)

Agree on WP being a good fit for RCH. He will not bring you wins but will get top 10's and maybe a top 5 or two. He was 270 lbs at one point and is in a lot better shape now and is still working hard to get better. Put him with RC to help train and coach on riding and the ROI would be huge.

Also agree that Hill will have a good year. I think he will start off with top 6-8 but will get better as the season goes on.

Would be great to hear some of Hills thoughts on Elsinore too.

Hill still has a lot of fight in him after being rock bottom with injuries for so long. I think he will be good next year.

According to him, he can win. But, that's according to every other rider as well.

If Josh wouldn't have hurt himself at Anaheim 1 this year he would have been in contention to win races. His speed was there in the off season. On our Supercross track he held the fastest lap times. That included riders like Canard, Tomac, Wilson, Roczen, etc. and yes lap times are no way of knowing who is actually going to win, but they do show speed. When he came back at San Diego he was just trying to finish the year and use it as a building block.

HIll was motivated this past year, and I'm glad it looks like RCH is sticking by him for one more year. Hopefully Suzuki/RCH is as committed to winning as Josh is this year.
