Same as I did to you. I don’t like James Stewart. He makes a goon rider of me, and I don’t like that. There’s nobody in the world – it can be the triple Stefan Everts – that can stay with him here.

I think he won the first moto by like 56 seconds...
I’ve never... He was one minute and six seconds ahead of me, and I’ve never gotten beaten in the sand by more than 30 seconds by anybody. Ever. And he was just playing, man! I don’t understand that.

No one said before Southwick that Stewart wouldn't easily beat de Reuver... including the de Reuver himself.

When are you guys going to understand that (most reasonable) GP followers don't claim to have anyone faster than Stewart of Villopoto, we all appreciate that these two are a class apart. We just think that it's a very close call between everyone behined them.

From his interview with Steve Cox, he seems like a great guy. He says he got tired and had a problem with the heat, and that Stewart is unbelievably fast. Sounds just like our guys. I hope he makes it back next year.

Yeah, ok. We saw the answer to that at the MXDN last year. Time will tell. September is right around the corner.

I guess I don't understand how or why Americans are so close-minded to ...well, anything worldly. I know many that say they have no desire to go to Europe because everything they want, need or enjoy is right here (and this is a very common American sentiment). How close-minded is that?

I love the fact that Marc came over here, tried his best, and under vastly different conditions, he pushed his hardest, did fantastic in the first moto, but came up short due to the environment (heat). He was simply not conditioned for our weather - what is so hard to understand about that? It would be like asking someone at sea level, to go up to 8000 feet and run 10 miles.

de Reuver can do it, just like any of the top professional MXers on the planet, with proper preparation.

Respect needs to be dispersed all the way around. He is certainly giving it to us....

At Matterly, we were standing with a couple of loud Americans and they were running there mouths about how James and Villo, were going to destroy the GP boys, 40 sec leads etc, blah blah blah then after one of the races, they were like, Oh Man that Everts is fast man, they took some stick, was good fun and they took it well and did admit Bubbles got a Riding lesson from the KING.

Yeah I wonder that also, I couldn't believe it when I read about only 20% having a passport, leaving 80% of Americans never having been outside the US, pretty sad actually when you think about it.

When was that 20% number came up with? I only ask because I do not have a passport but have been to a few places that you did not need a passport untill a couple years ago. Mexico, Jamaca, etc..

I assume you're asking how recent that percentage figure is? ('not quite sure by your sentence).

10 to 30% is a common figure that is very recent - but it is a difficult number to solidify as there are few reputable resources to accurately tally the numbers. In addition, most passports are valid for 10+ years, making consensus much harder.
