There's racing hard and I agree with aggression in our sport but then there is being careless and not having respect or concern for your fellow brother racer.clearly he ran barcia off the track in a spot where his neck was close to meeting that aircraft cable rig.also under those hay stacks is most likely a concrete barrier as an anchor for the rig.he could of killed him.i would think mookie has lost a lot of our respect.

He went in on him yes. Looked like he was going to square him up ,however they made contact. Which intern made Mookie's bike stand up. When his bike stood up he was unable to turn. At least that is what I saw.

Hard to feel sorry for a guy who's earned his nickname by knocking riders off.

Have you seen Barcia do much the same thing? Or Canard, for a 250 SX title?

"mookie has lost a lot of OUR respect"

Speak for yourself. Barcia got what has been coming to him forever. Im sure Malcolm was thinking "OMG look at that cable i bet if i put him into that it will be awesome!" Its just where it happened it was rough racing but i promise you Malcom was thinking if i dont do it to him right now hes going to do it to me here in a minute.

Canard grabbed too much throttle and lost control. I wouldn't really call that a takeout, it was unintentional.

I'd like to know what might have transpired before the take out! Barcia is the one with no respect nor concern for any other rider out there, including team mates! Much respect for Mookie!

Trying to push someone into a structure is different than rubbing number plates and bumping.

I lost a little faith in track safety, that could have been real bad. Things like that cable should be made safe so I don't have to watch someone die needlessly for banner placement.

Very stupid move by Mookie. He's been doing questionable moves all year. Paybacks a bitch especially with BamBam

This was a racing deal.

They got close. Mookie got stood up slightly which caused him to lock bars with Barcia slightly. Then he couldn't turn and hit a rut causing him to run both guys off track.

It wasn't an intentional take out. If you have raced for any amount of time, you know this shit happens.

It is motocross, a sport that we think is tough as nails and where rubbing is racing. We get a little of that today and now Mookie is stupid?

come on people.

I highly doubt at the pace these guys are going they have time to pick out a cable on the side of the track and then attempt to run someone wide at just the right moment to force them into a cable. I agree with the previous posts that this was simply a racing incident. Was it aggressive? Yes. But a racing incident nonetheless. And as someone stated in the race thread "if you don't want to be taken wide don't try to pass on the outside."

I agree! Dude has a bright future but I would still take Bubba over him! RV, Dunge and Bubba himself are the only guys that can beat Bubba!

Close... James wants third in the championship, which is what Barcia is currently in... see how this would have played out had James not a had another day of just "bad luck"!

"If you have raced for any amount of time" ok big shot.if u can't tell he stayed on the gas and took that angle to push barcia off the track then you should go race a little more "bro". Fro daddy called it out and hes the judge and jury bitch.
