You know....I felt really bad for Meghan when it happened , and still do. I'm not sure about the track cutting thing...........but as far as Meghan goes.......she's a great kid , from a good family with a bright future in WMX!

Sure that move was " Lesson learned "........but she can come out of this thing "KNOWING" for a God damned fact that she was the fastest chick there that day! She made a mistake.......but if you guys think that will be the last we see of her.....I think you have another thing coming.

She definitely did not earn that silver, She got cocky and crashed, and as far as I know that does not give you a "skip corner" pass.

Christ... I read all you guys posts and then watched the video. You all made it sound like she skipped a straight away. Big deal, she missed couple of whoops.

That Golden chick looked a little too happy, like she just won the the hundred meters at the Olympics. I was ready for her to drape the US flag around her shoulders and start a stadium strut.

This is exactly what happened to Lindsey Jacobellis in Snowboard X at the Olympics a few years ago. Had the gold medal in the bag with a huge lead and then grabs her board and does a cross up off a jump just a few feet from the finish, crashes on the landing and loses the gold , but recovered in time to get a silver medal.

Exactly. Meghan had a 4 sec lead on second place, she thoroughly laid waste of the star studded field, except for that mistake lot of 18yr old have made. Only Golden got past her and it was pretty poor form of her to strut around like she deserved it. Golden would have been better received if she congratulated Meg instead of ignoring her. Rutledge was def the crowd fav with her humble interview after.

I was with her at Milestone MX Park the previous Wed in training.

She's running 2nd in the WMX World Series, you can be assured she's super determined to make amends for the X Games booboo.
