How was Meghan Rutledge 2nd in women's Moto X at the X-Games?

When she clearly cut the track (after her crash)? She did not do the last left handed corner (berm]?
She passed Kiara Fontanesi and Jessica Patterson by cutting the track!
I feel bad for her (clearly had the win} but that doesn't excuse her actions.
I think Fontanesi should be reward the Silver, and Patterson should be rewarded the Bronze!
and Meghan Rutledge should be 4th overall.

Sorry if this has been talked about, just watch the races on my DVR, been on vacation.

But on the track cutting stuff, I agree, when did it become ok to start do that after a crash

The same thought crossed my mind when it happened. But I guess that the judges felt that when you lead a whole race and crash on the last jump in front of 18 000 people watching live and god knows how many watching on national tv was a punishment hard enough. Poor girl.

You're thinking Courtney Duncan, perhaps? Either way, that ramp is pretty tall and steep and I'm not sure a 125 would make it to the top Wink

This is really being argued?

I had someone take me to task for talking about Meghan's crash in social media, like I was trying to rub it in. I wasn't...but it was the biggest stoy of that race.
