but as bad as it would look with federal marshals investigating our sport for PEDs, it would at least bring out some of legitimacy of the sport that is being hid behind all the monster energy/extreme action sport bull shit.
Ziggy had talked to the marshalls and they said the law is CHANGING... In response to the Armstrong debacle which actually cost USPostal dollars... It didn't sound like he wasn't trying to involve them to get someone in trouble... More that the laws were changing and that he was sick of the rumours surrounding another camp.
Having said that, there were grumblings I think being discussed by PulpShow etc, from Barcia's camp last year that they didn't believe Bagget could be that much fitter than Justin... coming from behind in the motos... I think this is bs because a) Justin is the most inefficient rider the world's ever seen and b) he's getting beat by Dungey and RV and JS now, are they juicing too?
RV and Chad were full tested last year and fine... the whole year, full schedule, all hours, full tests, not just urine.
People say it's going on, but I'm also of the belief that it doesn't help you twist the throttle.
If someone like Mike Craig or Denny Stephenson, who was famed for being able to burn down a lap like no other, then suddenly started going 30 plus 2 like that, then that's sus... But there is a lot of work to get there and thinking guys like Bagget or RV are on drugs is crazy, they've won everything since they were kids, I doubt they were juicing then!
As far as PEDs... I'm not sure they would be much help in our sport, unless they were endurance enhancing. Being a muscle bound meat head seems like it would hinder more than help.
Now... if he is considering marijuana as a PED and the rider is promised Cheetos and Snickers if he wins, I might buy into that.
There is no fed violation for use. There are FDA violations for selling. The users who have been successfully prosecuted in PED cases were convicted of lying about it when interviewed or before a grand jury investigating sales, not for PED use.
There is a movement to criminalize use, but most law enforcement agencies are opposed for cost and enforcement priority reasons.

Do I have any proof? No, but I'm not retarded either. We are dealing with one of the most physically demanding sports in the world. The competition is as stacked as ever and there is NO testing. NONE. (Don't make me laugh by bringing up the urine tests).
Are PED's going to propel a B-rider to a top 20 Nationals rider? Of course not. But can they take an experienced top 10-rider that drops back during his motos and turn him into a top-5 contender that pushes it until the checkered flag? Absolutely.
