For anyone with positive things to say .

I'm a big fan . I hope to see Mike back Racing
Very soon
Preferably Millville
.
This family is all about Moto .

This has been a bad deal . Some bad decisions were made .
As a fan of Jeff tho he has always been a cool guy and very social with
The fans and come's on boards like this and talks to everyone and .
Gives an inside perspective from a riders point of view
And I've always thought that was cool .

Best wishes getting past this and hope to see you both race again!

I think that Mike can take this as a learning lesson and come back stronger if he does the right things and makes the right decisions. I hope he does.

Yea I'm curious to see what bike he rides now and if hell show up as a priviteer. Or when Mike Genova cools down, will he show up to another national, or next week. Good or bad, MotoConcepts got alot of press this week. It could make the team infamous. It could make MA800/MCR more popular... I'm sure the tent would be packed with fans wanting to check them out after all this.

I think Mike is awesome and I am sad that he is wrapped up in this mess. Good luck going forward Mike.

I'm a fan. We were all young once and made dumb mistakes. I hope Mike gets to race the remainer of the year. Maybe someone will give him a shot on another brand or if not I'd like to see him just show up and race.

How many more chances does this family need? They're a pack of duds the sport is better off without.

Absolutely Gutted for Mike !

Hope he gets sorted man.

I've heard it said that there is no such thing as bad publicity.

That might be stretching it more than a little in this case, but before this I paid no attention to Mike Alessi and didn't really know anything about him. Now I'll be pulling for him when watching him race.

That strategy is erroneous in business.

Example: If 20 people in day got food poisoning at a restaurant and the incident hit the press, do you think it would affect the restaurant?

I can name numerous products which had bad publicity and did not recover.

I said it was a stretch. Regardless, my point is that Mike has gained at least one fan - me.

Great thread! Mike has kicked a whole bunch of top named butts this year, he is entertaining and a credit to the sport. Last year would have been the biggest snoozer of a year without him, he was the only one to step it up and beat Dungey in a moto and he caught heck for that!? Insane how mean some fans are, it takes no backbone to jump in there and kick a man while he is down. Anyone who gets a laugh out of someone's pain has no heart, hang in there 800 and Tony also.....if Mike G bails, I understand but it sux for 800.

I'm not a fan of Mike & can't stand the old man & think he's got what he deserves. However it would be a shame if Mike missed the races and as I was reading through the list of punishments was kind of hoping they didn't take any of Mikes points away.
I think MX sports has been firm but fair & hope he can recover from this.

Not a fan either, but i feel for him. Last few years, he did his best to act like the professional he is, always plugs sponsors well, rides with all the heart he has, gives credit to the competition... I don't even agree with his points taken at Wash'. Poor guy had nothing to do with the Jeff fiasco, except carrying the same last name !

Great post, I have no evidence of course ( i wish I did), lol, but wouldn't it be ironic if RV was using PED's and DC knew it? It's a high pressure sport, so what if Tony went off. It's not like MX is some Catholic church and he's an Arch Bishop...

Why do you have to discredit another rider?

I met Mike the first time when he was an amatuer at Lake Whitney, and have talked to him in the pits at past Dallas SX races, and every time I had that opportunity to see and visit with him he took the time to talk, to pose for a picture and be a total stand up racer to me.
I'm no bigshot in the sport. Just a fan. But he definitely was professional, and cared.
Mike is a total hardcore MX pro who has given his all to this sport for a long time. True dedication alot of us couldn't do. He has been a top rider in outdoors for years now. He has been in outdoor championship points battles since his 250f days.
I am sad for him that this happened.
I respect his love for mx, and I am a fan.
Go MA 800.

Not only does Jeff not have an AMA pro license, he is suspended indefinitely. WTF?
If he was out there I don't think he would make it through the first turn.

Jeff should come race over here in aus till it all settles down, heck all the drama the guy causes might give the sport a little publicity over here haha.
